A Great PlaceShame you shut the evening Restaurant it used to be great food & atmosphere.Difficult to find good food in the evening now.We had fish & chips from the Wagon that comes onsite, I must say it was shocking at best. Threw most of the food away, Chips were inedible . I still Love the place, but could do with a Restaurant at night.

The pod was warm, dry and gave us privacy with a little garden area. It was nice not having to pack up a wet tent as it was pouring down all night before we left and the morning. Fishing was great. Amenities clean as usual. And people friendly and helpful as usual :)

We spent a couple of nights in a POD. It was clean, dry and comfortable and a lovely private area to set up all our camping gear. The campsite is beautiful and peaceful. A lovely place to walk around with woods and lakes and well defined footpaths. There's a lovely pub nearby and a cafe on site. Unfortunately the cafe doesn't open after 4pm during the week which is a shame but it was a nice spot for breakfast or lunch. The toilet and shower block is spotlessly clean with really good facilities. There are also laundry facilities if you are staying a bit longer and even a fridge and freezer you can use if you need it.The staff are all friendly and helpful.

It's a nice place to stay, clean and tidy. The toilets were very clean considering it's a campsite. I don't like the fact that it is not gated and anyone can just walk or drive in. The breakfast was on the expensive side as you didn't get much for your money and mine was barely warm. We were impressed by the fish and chip van as it was value for money. We have stayed a few times and had a nice time but now the kids are older there isn't a great deal for then to do.

Staff were very friendly on arrival and during stay. I saw nothing but cleaners the whole time I was there. The facilities were faultless! I’ve never stayed at a campsite that is so clean and well maintained! I only wish there were more things to do on the premises but it was stunning and so peaceful. Even the bird sounds in the toilets were a lovely touch. I have camped in a tent here and I returned this year to stay in a pod and we already want to come back! Kids love it Thankyou :)

We normally come to Sumners Ponds in our camper van but decided for New Year to try a pod. They may be basic camping but provided you have the right kit they are warm and given the weather, watertight! Staff were very helpful booking and in resolving parking issues. Cafe was as good as ever and so were the walks around the area. Toilets and showers were spotless as usual. We will be returning.

We stayed in a pod for two nights. The pod and surrounding area was really nice. We had an enclosed garden which made it more private. The shower/toilet facilities were outstanding. Very clean, spacious and the bird noises played was a nice touch. The campsite itself is very pretty. The two secure dog fields were more than worth the money. My dog loved going to both. My only dissatisfaction would be the food from the cafe. I ordered two breakfast ciabattas and the fillings were burnt. However the cafe area again is very nice and had a good selection of food and cakes. Will definitely be staying again.
