Lovely Debbie in reception. Lovely cafe setting. Lovely Robins Nest. In fact everything was lovely , only thing that I wished Robins Nest had was a microwave as I had brought items that needed warming up, other than that Robins Nest was beautifully equipped and the rads were easy to work if needed , a lovely experience for me a 87yr old.

Camp easy to find with Sat Nav. Reception well organised and friendly when we arrived. Our accommodation in Robins Nest was very secluded and we loved the private fishing deck. The cabin was quite small so not much storage space for clothing. The bathroom was really good, especially the shower. The only downside was the small 2 seater sofa was extremely uncomfortable so made relaxing in the evenings difficult. Facilties around the camp are good and clean. The cafe onsite is lovely and there is also a well stocked shop about ten minutes walk outside Sumners to stock up on essentials. We spent a lovely 3 nights with other family members staying in the various Safari tents, Shepherds hut etc. We have booked again for next year. Well done Sumners.

As always the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Debbie in the office and the cleaning staff. Robins nest was clean and well equipped. The grounds are beautifully kept and there is always something new to see. This was our 4th stay at Sumners, both camping and in lodges, and we have already booked for next year!

This was our second visit to Robin nest and Sumners pond. The grounds and accomodation are excellent. We thought that booking at the beginning of July mid week we would have a peaceful holiday however we chose the wrong time. The farm pond was crowded out and some of the people there were very noisy despite the rules asking people to be quiet. We would love to return but would choose a quieter time.We would also like to see the area around the swims on "goose" lake cleaned up as this seems to be a beautiful spot for a quiet day's fishing.Ideally we would also like to see some sort of patrols in the evenings as there were some unpleasant events happening on the disabled platforms and car headlights were full on across the pond.We didn't have very good WiFi at all in Robins nest.We didn't use the restaurant as we found it didn't cater for those looking for a simple meal and was very expensive.Apart from that we love Sumners and will be back !!!
