"Fantastic Safari Tent"

Mrs C Sharp - Stayed with family, Nov 2023

The tent was so well equipped! I packed bin bags, tea towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper but it was all there for us on arrival. The beds were so comfy and the tent felt so homely and warm. Perfect celebration for my husband’s 50th birthday.

"Warm welcome. Everything explained. First impression, excellent."

G Atley - Stayed with family, Nov 2023

Stayed in a Safari tent. All mod cons warm and cosy, great view of the lake. Only one criticism the sofa bed could have been more comfortable. Overall a perfect long weekend away.

We stayed in Swallows Hide which was lovely, up to date accomodation with a fishing deck & stunning views. Very dog friendly too (We had 3 dachshunds with us). The service we received throughout our stay was first class & we are looking to return next year. Only feedback for consideration is the beds and seating in the tent we're not particularly comfortable but perfectly fine for a couple of nights.

Had a slight problem with the lights, that we did not notice till after the office had shut. But as soon as I rang the bell there was someone there to help. Would recommend an upgrade of the mattress in the double room. We have stayed in some of the other lodges a few times and the mattress in them are fantastic. Struggled to sleep on this one. Loved the cake, bread, milk etc that is left for guests. Will be back soon.
