Experience camping in a glamping pod at Sumners Ponds Fishery & Campsite, The concept is to bring all your own equipment less the tent – so you need to bring your own bedding including mattress or camp bed, cooking equipment and anything else you think you might need for a camping trip in West Sussex. Best of all you will be cosy and warm with no wet tent to pack away at the end of your stay.

The glamping pod consists of lockable double doors, carpeted flooring, electric heater and lighting with the use of a double plug socket. There is also a small decking area on each of the glamping pods for use as a seating and cooking area. At each glamping pod there is a picnic table exclusively for your use.

Use of the showers blocks and electricity is included. Fishing is separate and tickets can be purchased when you arrive. A Standard Glamping Pod can accommodate up to two adults and two small children.

Glamping at Sumners Ponds Fishery and Campsite in West Sussex is a unique and beautiful spot set in tranquil countryside amongst 100 acres of lakes, woodland and pasture.

The campsite itself boasts high quality campsite facilities, acres of woodland, a working farm and fishing lakes. All this in a beautiful and secluded setting which is perfect for just relaxing, or for the more active, exploring the many footpaths and safe cycle-ways within and around the site.

Sumners Ponds is an ideal touring base, with many beautiful towns and villages near by. Access to the South Downs National Park and the coast is easy, while Brighton is only half an hour by car and London only one hour away. There really is something for everyone.

The Cafe by the Lake is our restaurant and bar which is open to both those staying on site and the general public. We aim to provide the highest standard of food and service.

When you arrive the Smith family and the team will be here to ensure that your glamping break in West Sussex is as enjoyable as possible. We look forward to welcoming you.

The layout has changed somewhat but it is lovely that each pod has its own private space now. We were very impressed with the extra cleaning going on due to covid and we felt very safe. The site and area are lovely. The food REALLY good (thanks, chef for catering for vegans) and we just generally had a lovely time. Be warned that the lake water feature remains on all night if you have accommodation near that.

Mine we're delighted and rest of family can sit on side benches to watch. Washing facilities were excellent, l actually wanted to have a shower (block by Sumners anyway). They are going the extra mile regarding Covid-19 safety too. Big thumbs up. Stayed in a pod as no pitches were left. Not stayed in one before, but its a room for blow up bed (small pod, not sure about family one). l prefer my tent, but that's personal preference. Nice to have private garden though. Greenery everywhere which made you not feel on top if everyone. Breakfasts are pricey, but sausages are real nice. Burgers were great, so never used our BBQ. Would advise them to build a play area for kids seperate from the one in Bluebell. Such a good site!
