"Calmness"

Mrs T Hayden - Stayed with partner, Jul 2023

Our second stay this year. Calm and peaceful. Everything we need is in Robin Nest. Good fishing even in the rain. Sofa not very comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

"Good fishing on farm pond, Robins nest was good but not great for anyone with mobility issues."

Mr C Rice - Stayed with partner, Jul 2023

Rather expensive for the accommodation but well stocked for a short break. Great to receive the welcome pack and the cabin was very clean and tidy.

Lovely cafe with good food. Nice pub a few minutes walk away, plus a little supermarket. Maybe have a small fence before the fishing deck so you can let your dog off the lead if you have one, as I they have in the new lodges. Our dog loves the water, so she had to be kept on the lead so she she's my jump in.

"A wonderful place to stay"

I only issue with staying at Robins nest was the fact that the tree on the left-hand side of the stage in needed trimming back, you couldn’t finish that side at all float fishing that would be my only criticism. I only issue with staying at Robins nest was the fact that the tree on the left-hand side of the stage in needed trimming back, you couldn’t finish that side at all float fishing that would be my only criticism. My accommodation was excellent. The Fishing was very very good. The café food was excellent. No complaints at all with that I mean really and truly is a brilliant place to stay. I am just dead. It’s getting out of my price range now though a run but can’t fault, it can’t fault it at all.

All areas were good but would suggest anti slip mat for robins nest shower as very slippery when wet

"Nice stay."

Mrs A Carter - Stayed with partner, May 2023

I stadium Robins nest which was very compact and Bijoux everything you could need may be a bit too much considering the properties only for two why would you need six classes there was nowhere really to put any food that you had taken with you if you had less crockery... I stadium Robins nest which was very compact and Bijoux everything you could need may be a bit too much considering the properties only for two why would you need six classes there was nowhere really to put any food that you had taken with you if you had less crockery on the shelf, you’d have more room to put your dry store food. Think it’s a little bit unfair but you can’t eat fish on the café by the lake. Betty’s all the other like as part of the cost of your holiday I didn’t catch fish they were only small. Bedding was clean and fresh towels were lovely and white and soft , one thing I did notice is that there was quite a lot of dust in the property. I’m with my husband having a dust allergy. I wasn’t best impressed. On the sofa could do with new phone as it was very uncomfortable. Lovely little touch with the welcome pack, milk, bread, eggs, butter, jam Very helpful as there is no shop on site There are both plus and negatives to Sumners Pond I would consider staying here again
