"Stayed in robins nest everything was supplied and a nice welcome gesture of milk etc very friendly and helpful staff"

Mrs D Lamprell - Stayed with partner, May 2023

All areas were good but would suggest anti slip mat for robins nest shower as very slippery when wet

"Nice stay."

I stadium Robins nest which was very compact and Bijoux everything you could need may be a bit too much considering the properties only for two why would you need six classes there was nowhere really to put any food that you had taken with you if you had less crockery on the shelf, you’d have more room to put your dry store food. Think it’s a little bit unfair but you can’t eat fish on the café by the lake. Betty’s all the other like as part of the cost of your holiday I didn’t catch fish they were only small. Bedding was clean and fresh towels were lovely and white and soft , one thing I did notice is that there was quite a lot of dust in the property. I’m with my husband having a dust allergy. I wasn’t best impressed. On the sofa could do with new phone as it was very uncomfortable. Lovely little touch with the welcome pack, milk, bread, eggs, butter, jam Very helpful as there is no shop on site There are both plus and negatives to Sumners Pond I would consider staying here again

We had checked-in, hired the fishing gear and were catching fish within the hour! We stayed in a well appointed lakeside cabin and spent two fantastic days there and were fishing up to five minutes before checking out. The cafe/bar is great and the Full English was a cracker. Would recommend it without hesitation. M. Randell.

Beautiful surroundings and a very well-maintained site. Staff were helpful and friendly. Superb food and drinks in the cafe and a good pub and shop only moments away. The song birds and waterfowl were a joy. Dog friendly site with a brilliant safe wood for hire which was great for our training puppy. Seeing the young calfs in the cow shed was lovely. This is our 3rd visit to Sumners and we will definitely return.

Luckily we weren't going out or having to leave that morning as we didn't have any water before 10 am . Really friendly staff everywhere 😊 Wish the cafe by the lake served evening meals or even a takeaway service would have been ideal. Thank you for such a lovely mini break .
