Pine Lodge (1 Double & 1 Twin Bedroom)

On arrival staff very friendly and informative. Cabin clean with all amenities required. Location was excellent. Hopefully will return and would highly recommend.

Positive points were the campus/site, friendly staff and access to the beach. The cabin itself was a little small, but lovely however the shower/bath wasn't full size which was difficult for me. The big downside though was the TV and Wi-Fi. TV was too small and had limited channels, and the wi-fi was terrible. In 2023 internet connectivity is a must-have. If that could be sorted out then would have been a 5* and a definite to returning.

The camp store offers everything at normal prices. Pine Lodge is fully equipped. Beds are on the short side for tall people. birds and squirrels come to your lodge. Take a dinner at Eddystone Inn, delicious! we hope to come back someday!

Situated in a peaceful, wooded valley its a restorative place to say. The cabin was clean, warm, with plenty of hot water. Churchwood is a good location for the beach and pleasant walks.

Cabin clean and tidy, coastal walks great, fantastic pubs and pub meals, very peaceful.

Fab location, near enough to Plymouth for convenience like shopping and groceries but also far enough away from the city to feel like a holiday. Mill Cottage is lovely for coffee and cake or a cream tea and the holiday park itself is well kept with lots of wildlife and... The cabin could do with a bit of an update, the mattress was not comfortable at all and the shower lacks any power. The toaster is also very old and you can’t fit a normal sized slice of bread into it. The heat also sets off the smoke alarm. However the staff are lovely and super helpful. We’ll definitely stay again.

As usual the location of church wood valley is perfect for that peaceful getaway , my only issue this time was the very steep slope towards our cabin, made worse by the condition of the slope itself crumbling and uneven, possibly need some work done on it . The cabin... The cabin had WiFi , tastefully decorated, lovely electric log fire, new oven ( not screwed into position however) and most of all peaceful. Short beautiful walk to beach ,friendly staff and handy shop and launderette on site. Will definitely return but not to that cabin on the slope.
