The lodge had no tea towels, dishwasher tablets or toiletries and only 1 bin bag for a family of 6 for 5 days. Only jets 1 worked in the hot tub and no lights. Main bedroom light switch on entering the bedroom didn't work, had to go behind the bed to switch on and that was temperamental, turning on 6 spot lights and 2 wall lights at once. Outdoor heated pool was not heated, it was warmer to get out and towards the deep end smelt damp (think it was the artificial grass). If these things were fixed we would return. The restaurant Hindelinis food was delicious but again needs attention to the booth seats as all worn away. Lovely seeing the peacocks and deer and great walking areas to explore.

We were 2 families 4 adults and 3 kids 2-5years old. They loved the pool and the hot tub. Out lodge had a great size side enclosed garden they could run around and kick a ball. The shared kitchen living dining was a good size, didn’t feel on top of each other! Happy with our cabin. 2 bathrooms so again had space for each family. Only critic of the actual lodge was it could do with a better clean. There was a lot of dust around the floor and corners. A lot of dead insects on the floor and window ledges when we checked in. Not sure the lodge had a through hoover and mop before we came. The main bathroom could do with new sealant around the bath, as there was black mould. This did not deter from the experience. Regarding the pool, the life guard was so helpful and kind. It would be good if the pool was perhaps open an hour later as 4pm seemed early. High std pool area. Definitely will return! Thank you!

Site was very nice and staff very friendly. However our lodge could have done with blinds and no plugs at all in the main bedroom was disappointing. Our children however were in a lovely lodge so that was the only issue.

We have stayed here many occasions and loved it. This time things we were disappointed by: The door handles of one bedroom and bathroom were dropping off The sink leaked The hot tub only had one area of jets working and it had a leak which stopped this working most of the time. Only one door opened on the French doors because one of the latches were bent Pet hair all over the furniture and floors Staff service in Hindelinis wasn’t at the standard it has been previously- service was slow and things were missing off of orders and had to be asked for on numerous occasions. Staff had a sort of ‘can’t be bothered attitude’ Mattress on the master bed seemed to have broken springs In previous times we have been as a couple and the lodges have been perfect. This time we have been as a family and feel that this lodge has been abused in the past by bigger parties who have stayed there.

The lodge was nice and private. The surroundings were well cared for, quiet and relaxing. Ate at the restaurant and had takeaway to eat at the lodge and all of the staff were fantastic. They were warms and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
