Welcome to Gisburne Park Estate, one of Lancashire’s finest private estates, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. A 1000 acres of picturesque Ribble Valley countryside, owned and managed by Amber and Guy Hindley and family. Nestled within the Estate is Ribblesdale Park, the North of England’s leading hot tub holiday destination. A collection of contemporary lodges, historic houses, cosy cottages or glorious glamping.

While every campsite in the country bursts at the seams, discover our exclusive glamping village of just 10 widely spaced, luxurious five metre bell tents. Nestled within a historic Grade 1 listed, 1000 acre private estate, each tent is fully furnished. Expect home from home comforts, with a double bed, king sized duvet and electric power, while outside a decked area contains table and chairs and your own fire pit. Our magical glamping site is perfect for couples, families, and group bookings.

Located in a magnificent 6 acre field under the shadows of our Grade 1 mansion house your luxury belle tent looks out onto miles of peace and quiet. A 5 min stroll up hill and you’ll be in the heart of the holiday village where you will find our onsite restaurant Hindelinis. A 5 min stroll in the opposite direction and you’re at our heated outdoor swimming pool.

Check in is located at Main Park, within Hindelinis, our on-site Bar & Restaurant. Once you have your allocation details, we will then direct you to our Glamping Village, and your designated pitch.

Included in your accommodation is 1 double bed including a sprung mattress, a king size duvet, pillows & pillowcases, 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels and a cosy blanket.

Kids are incredibly welcome at Ribblesdale. We provide camp beds but not bedding for kids. There are acres and acres of safe space for them to play in and explore.

Onsite you will see our quirky little shower shacks and toilets that are just a short distance away from your bell tent. These are individual cubicles / stalls for greater privacy and cleanliness.

We supply a small amount of wood for your fire pit, once used you can purchase more wood/kindling from the Texaco petrol station on the main road A59 (BB7 4ES) open 7am-8pm. Please note, we do not provide any fire lighting equipment and all fire pits must remain in the same position as found on arrival.

Your Bell tent comes fully fitted with 2 electrical plug sockets, you will find this at the base of the bed frame on the right hand side.

Excellent park

Glamping at Ribblesdale Park confirmed we are not campers, Minuses: I would say it is more camping than Glamping as pods would have been a lot more comfortable, due to staying in the tent we found the bed was damp and cold and the outdoor loos and showers were full of spiders which my niece didn’t appreciate, a shower block might be better. Pluses: There are plenty of them, beautiful park, great swimming pool with lifeguard, nice food at restaurant, great for walks etc. very clean, wonderful wildlife we had a stag visited us every morning and night, relaxing etc etc We will definitely return but in a lodge.

We glamped and I've decided we are not campers but what an amazing place the bell tents are perfect there was a fre things that could have been better with facilities. The walk from the tents to showers and Loo's was a nightmare in the evening and morning when grass was wet just a simple path would make a massive difference and possibly toilet facilities a bit more spread out. The place is amazing the walks are gorgeous the views. We walked by the wedding venue its breathtaking. We are definitely planning planning on a return but to a lodge or a house. The pool is gorgeous. The place is spotless. Obviously there are still things being done here but a little onsight shop would make a very handy addition just selling basics. The restaurant and bar are lovely. The wildlife is stunning we had a deer join us for a bbq the first night. Overall an amazing place.

Beautiful setting and lovely tent.

The tent and the estate are beautiful. Loved the wildlife, especially the friendly nosy peacock and impressive stags. Pool was cute (smaller than expected but no problem) and the attendant friendly and chatty. Afternoon tea was really well presented and tasty. Manageress extremely helpful and kind when we had an issue. Could do with more sinks. Also it wasn't obvious how to explore the immediate area, we tried to walk out twice and hit dead ends, couldn't work out how to get down to the river. Biggest problem was what must have been cut and left behind grass, whenever you walked out you got your feet covered in grass so it was a constant battle to keep out of the tent.

Lovely few days glamping

We loved our few days glamping. Lovely site. Great for kids to run around. Only issue was the lights on the site went out or blew, on the second day. Meaning no lights in the toilets etc over night. Did ring the office and was told nothing could be done. Other than that would highly recommend.

Glamping

The glamping tent was lovely, very comfortable. The grass lin the field was quite long meaning a lot was trailed into the tent (we bought our own dustpan and brush). The toilets and showers were ok but could have been cleaned on the second day. The restaurant and bar were great with entertainment provided on both nights. Staff in the bar and restaurant were nice and friendly and the prices as expected. Easy access to local towns by car or bus and a short walk to the local village pub. All in all a good experience.

Mouldy and disappointing

Winter, Alisha - 31/08/2023

I stayed at your glamping site Friday 25th and Saturday 26th august with three other families. During my stay I was very dissatisfied with many different things; As you will see from pictures and video provided the tent was very mouldy and damp (I stayed at tent 8) . This caused the bedding I brought for my children to get damp and the bedding on the bed was also damp. I also had a broken zip (see picture) which the kids were getting confused and falling over constantly.I paid £15 x 2 extra for the children camp beds and no other family on site paid extra. The field was not mowed like in the pictures, and the grass was long causing everyone’s shoes to be constantly wet through. (Maybe advise wellies will be required as grass in long). Would also be good to have a brush for in the tent for all grass.Saturday morning the kids were waiting to go to the pool at 10am to be told we would all have to wait as the pool had not been cleaned. The pool then become very over crowded and lots

Lovely site

We stayed in the glamping tents for a weekend with friends. The site was lovely, our tent was a bit dirty (on the outside) compared to others but it had no effect on use. The showers and toilets were nice and clean but unfortunately the locks were really hard to close so I needed help with this. The children loved the pool and it was nice and clean. We ate at Hindelinis one night which was very nice and we was given a 10% off voucher too which made the prices even better. 3 children (older children) chose pepperoni pizzas off the adult menu but were disappointed as they had uncooked chillis all over and a hot sauce, obviously these aren’t the usual ingredients of a pepperoni pizza. We had a wander through the estate past the old kennels ruin and around the old house/hospital which was very eerie but interesting. We stumbled upon a huge tipi set up for a wedding, it looked magical! the maintenance guy let us have a look inside, any weddings booked there look like theywould be amazi

Lovely place however I would debate doing the glamping there again

Lovely glamping site, gorgeous grounds, restaurant overpriced but nice. Swimming pool is amazing, park is excellent and staff are lovely. Overall this was a fantastic stay and fantastic grounds .Negatives were; a large party who hired multiple tents were allowed to party into the night. Also there was no cleaning of toilets and showers done in the 2 nights we stayed and no night patrols meant that the family atmosphere portrayed did not live up to standards. Overall I would love to stay again, but due to noise concerns I would probably book a lodge. Other glamping locations don't allow large partys unless they book all the tents, as its not fair on other campers Noise patrols should have been done by ribblesdale park staff.

Good size tent lovely big field and comfortable bed

The complex was lovely we stayed in a bell tent and my two areas for improvement are 1. The tent had holes in it luckily it did not rain when we were there but if it had we may have been in a bit of a mess and 2. The filed has ko shad whatsoever it was really hot for one of the days we stayed and we had dogs with us but there was nowhere that they could be without being too hot it would be good if there were umbrellas available to shield from the sun we ended up having to put the dogs in the car and driving them around to cool them down umbrellas would also be good for rainy days. Also it would be good if the showers had a place to put clothes and get ready as they are small and your clothes get wet
