Absolutely loved our weekend stay at riverside house. The house itself was wonderful and the setting was beautiful, so peaceful and the sound of the river, well let’s put it this way …. I didn’t want to leave to get back to the rat race… definitely going back !

Long weekend to celebrate a special friends birthday, we stayed at Riverside Cottage which was just amazing and sleeps 6 people. Stunning location, surrounded by beautiful wood, land, running stream, wildlife (we regularly saw deer and peacocks in the park) but Riverside is slightly out from the main centre of Ribblesdale which was perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet. The house itself was immaculate with three bedrooms which were so comfortable and beautifully, but minimally decorated. The huge kitchen was fabulous and provided everything needed although we couldn't get the coffee machine to work The conservatory looked out to the woodland, stream, and bridge so it was wonderful to sit, relax and watch the great outdoors. Bonus was the hot tub which was a real treat. We had Sunday lunch at the park café which was lovely and enjoyed the outdoor DJ on Saturday as the sun shone! Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Perfect weekend and would not hesitate to return.

We stayed in Riverside House for half term snd the property exceeded our expectations. The most relaxing setting near the river which was lit up of an evening. The house has everything you could wish for and is finished to such a high standard. We really enjoyed the board games available and the dining facilities. The outdoor hot tub was a great size which my children loved. There was an outdoor fire pit which we used and made melted marshmallows. We booked the massage therapist mid week for treatments at the house and the setting was just perfect. We honestly had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at the house and will be booking again for next year. Thank you to ribblesdale for providing such excellent service and quality accommodation, the site has so much to offer.

Stayed at Riverside House with 5 friends, i have stayed at various different lodges on Ribblesdale Park and i always wanted to arrange for friends to stay at Riverside. The house itself is incredible, stunning design and location. The views across the river are truly beautiful. Everything was fantastic, apart from a slight issue we had with a ladybug infestation (you are in nature and i didn’t feel this is the park’s fault) we also had heavy rain the first day which caused the conservatory to leak. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant on one of the nights, which was very nice. We visit Ribblesdale at least 3 times a year now, so we shall be back.

What a wonderful place.Check in was seamless and I only booked on the morning! Very friendly helpful member of staff who provided us with all the information we needed. We were taken to our “cottage”.. which was lit and warm and amazing. Hats off to housekeeping .. it was immaculate..with crisp white bedding and lovely white towels. We stayed at Riverside Cottage .. truly gorgeous. A dream for 4 days is all I can say. Ate at the on site restaurant and the food was excellent. All the staff are so friendly. The cottage is set in a secluded area .. perfect for us. Can’t wait to return.

Needed breakfast stools in the kitchen, signal on tele not great. Windows infested with dead flys and ladybirds. Trying to get out of the big gate was a nightmare as sensors were not always picking the cars up. Needs lights for the back door.

As a last minute break we booked the Riverside House. Wow! We were utterly speechless as we drove over the bridge and glanced to the right and so the beautiful house, in stunning grounds with a lovely river running by it. The house itself just stunning. We were wandering around just saying how amazing it was. The beautiful conservatory was our favourite place. To sit in the tranquility and just watch the wildlife and listen to the river. Nobody needs to come to this part of the site so it is truly remote and great for a quiet break. We are a married couple that live apart due to work and this was just what we needed to be able to be in utter bliss and just be together. We also visited Hindelinis for drinks which was a nice change for the peace of the Riverside but still not overly busy. We did only sit outside due to nice weather so cannot comment on the actual restaurant. The location is superb. We had great walks each day all within 20/30 minutes drive away. We will be back.
