Spacious Lodge - huge living space on a lovely site

Town, Erica - 11/07/2025

The Lodges are very nicely equipped and the living space is large. The site itself is well maintained and very green with good space between each one. The hot tub was nicely situated to the rear. Some are rather exposed to passers by so you need to check this.We were a wedding party and wanted Lodges closer to each other than we got. The hot water is on a combi boiler so only one person can shower at a time and you can't have water on in the kitchen without effecting the shower water pressure and temperature. There were one or two other small maintenance issues. The main negative is the lack of on site facilities as the service at Hindelinis is SO slow and there is no food shop nearby. We made a breakfast reservation for lunch but when we got there there was no table for us. Luckily we could sit outside but don't know what we would have done if it had been raining.

Unimpressed

Having used Ribblesdale Park for several years, we knew which lodge suited us best and which one we'd like to book. On booking the holiday 9/10 months ago, we contacted the office and they agreed to book us into lodge 63 which was perfect. We holiday with elderly family and don't venture off the park. The enjoyment for them is the views over the valley, which is superb. However, on arrival, we were informed we had been moved into lodge 68. After queuing to register for 30 minutes which wasn't acceptable anyway, the girl couldn't give any explanation why this had happened. We went to lodge 68, and as expected just wasn't acceptable for our needs. My wife went back to reception and was told Lodge 63 was available from the Wednesday. ( We were Monday to Friday) The following day she returned and asked for timings for the move, only to be told that lodge 63 had now been booked an not available. She was informed that we would receive an email of explanation, which never arrived.

Lovely relaxing midweek break in Malham lodge

Revell, Karen - 10/06/2025

Had an early check in which was very easy and very welcoming. Lodge was ready, well equipped, spacious and clean. Had a great secure garden for the dogs. It was lovely to relax in the hot tub knowing the dogs were happy running around. Lots of places to venture out to. Our family were 3 generations and there was something for everyone in the area. The grounds were gorgeous with wildlife wandering around which my girls loved. Had to call maintenence to look at the cooker door and he arrived within minutes and completed the job quickly and was very friendly. We we were so happy we weren't ready to come home and could of stayed longer. Thank you ribblesdale.

Tranquil! Nurturing! Family Focus!

We had a fantastic family - both 2 legged and 4 legged - venture, spending a much needed week away from the hustle and bustle of life. A family atmosphere is upheld and thrives through the staff members who work there - all seem committed to the park and the ethos of the place. It is also a working farm, which keeps it grounded to its roots. The deer and peacocks that visit the lodges are a delight! My point of contact prior to my stay and during was Julie - who is fantastic! Her manner is exuberant and welcoming, where nothing is too much trouble. We met Julie on arrival, prior to eating at the restaurant, and it has to be said that her warmth made all Hindelinis staff fall short in this area. Yes we were treated respectfully. Yes the food was lovely - we ate there 4 times during our stay. Yes the menu catered to all needs but the place lacked a Julie front of house.

Once again everything was perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful. The site is well maintained . We stayed in a Malham lodge which was roomy and airy with comfortable beds and furnishings and all kitchen equipment available. The hot tub was a treat and it was set in a huge secure garden for the dog. The deer and peacocks also visited us. We hopefully will visit again . Thanks

We stayed in a Malham lodge which had everything we needed for a family of 5 (4 adults 1 child) Lodge was modern and immaculate, literally as the picture.Had 2 double room, one of which on suite with plenty of space and storage for you belongings. The twin room beds were also a really good size for our tall 13 year old!Our view was amazing with visits from the peacocks and deer every day made it so special. Lovely walks right on the doorstep and a lovely little village a short walk up the lane which had a lovely pub, cafe and restaurant if you wanted. On site cafe/bar was lovely and had good food and service. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

Excellent winter visit

We had a lovely stay with great lodge and garden. Did have a couple of maintenance issues, mainly the doors not locking/unlocking, whilst maintenance came to fix one door it did mean the patio doors were unusable. We went to the cafe once for a drink, staff whilst serving were friendly but felt was more like a staff gathering at one point, this put us off returning for food. Suggested improvements would be a shop area within cafe for forgotten items such as milk etc and also a dedicated dog freedom field would be amazing!Good value for money, added 3 nights for only £250! Will definitely return.
