Welcome to Gisburne Park Estate, one of Lancashire’s finest private estates, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. A 1000 acres of picturesque Ribble Valley countryside, owned and managed by Amber and Guy Hindley and family. Nestled within the Estate is Ribblesdale Park, the North of England’s leading hot tub holiday destination. A collection of contemporary lodges, historic houses, cosy cottages or glorious glamping.
Coot Cottage is now fully refurbished and open as a holiday cottage. Situated on the edge of Ribblesdale Park and a stone throw away from our all day restaurant Hindelinis. It oozes all the charm and character you would expect from a listed country cottage; oak beams, asymmetrical walls, log burners, creaky floor boards and a large sumptuous hot tub.
Coot Cottage features two double bedrooms with a small single guest room (child), a master bathroom (upstairs) as well as a downstairs toilet and shower too.
The cottage also has an open floor plan for the kitchen/dining area and a lounge with a wood burning fire. This cottage is fully equipped for a top quality self-catering family holiday.

The cottage was nicely presented, however the plates and cups etc were dirty, and dirty pots left In the sink on our arrival. The shower in the cottage has minimal power and is getting mouldy in certain areas. We loved the hot tub, and the kids enjoyed it too. It states there is a DVD player however there was no player and staff couldn’t find one.

We are a family of three and have stayed in cottages around the uk and also abroad . We stayed at Coot cottage everything we need the only thing I would suggest some hooks in the bathroom and maybe a shelf in the shower other than that perfect . Well the next thing I rang a week before to book a cottage or lodge and was told for our dates nothing was available. Five minutes later I booked on your own website those dates . Customer service was the biggest problem we arrived at 17.00 to check in and were left waiting for ages in the end a maintenance guy went and got our key . We had no welcome we had no instructions there is nothing in the cottage except a phone number . We couldn’t find the pool but loved it when we did . 10 till 4 Tuesday till Thursday this need to be transparent on your website as does that you no longer hire sun lounges since Covid . The garden furniture is basic at the cottage use the pool ones Covid not a problem there ? Only 10-4 ? Lovely cottage though .

Having stayed in lodges a year previous we went back with the family and hired coot cottage for a long weekend.coot is well equipped for self catering and has a very homely feel to it.Hot tub out back was great and very secluded.Little bit isolated from main camp but a short cut through to all camp facilities.Staff helpful on arrival and had info if any issues of which there was none.Only having one key was a bit awkward especially as there is no back door to the hot tub area as we are very security conscious these days its a habit to lock up,so maybe 2 keys to use would help.overall had a great time very relaxing and sure will be back soon.
