Our 10 year anniversary trip was unfortunately spoilt and managements only response is to offer a meagre discount on a future stay that we don’t want after the disaster that was our weekend. Paying what we paid for a ‘relaxing, romantic’ lodge break you would expect it to be exactly this. Except we were met with a lodge that had a hot tub that was unusable, a whirlpool bath that didn’t work, toilet lights that didn’t work and WiFi that didn’t work. Our lodge was essentially on the restaurant carpark with constant noise. Be aware on Saturday they have a ‘DJ’ on that blasts songs so loudly it left us feeling anything but relaxed as we could hear it over the TV in our lodge with windows and doors shut. We were unable to speak to any management over the weekend as apparently they only work Monday-Friday. So who deals with things when they go wrong? Who indeed. Maintenance did what they could but didn’t manage to sort WiFi or the bath. The hot tub still remained unusable for the dur

I booked a long weekend away for me, my husband and dog. I came across Ribblesdale park by chance when searching for dog friendly accommodation and it looked amazing, the price was a little more expensive than other places I looked at but it looked like a cut above the rest so I thought I’d book it. The park was lovely, so peaceful, we saw peacocks and deer and there were plenty of walks within the park. The lodge was nice and the hot tub was all ready to go! The only negatives I had was the couch looked grubby, not dirty but it was quite heavily stained (maybe is in need of a professional clean/throw or a new one). Only left with 1 bin bag, 1/2 a toilet roll no tin foil etc for the weekend which I think is a little skinny, particularly for the price paid. I think little touches like that make a difference. Would definitely consider another visit to the park.

Did get in on the Sunday and Sunday dinner was lovely. Had no wifi in our lodge the whole weekend despite asking about it on multiple occasions, had to go outside to send messages.

Not being offered the 5pm-6pm 2for1 on wine of lager until the last evening . Also the plug in the bath kept letting the water out so we could not enjoy this . We stayed in the chatterley. Other than this the facilities where great and we did enjoy our stay . Thankyou .

Everything we needed was in the lodge. The map was old but we had a wander around. No signposts to say where to go to find the pool or walks. But we muddled through. In the garden at the back of our lodge, we found 5 old cigarette stumps left by previous occupants. I picked them up and as a non smoker didn’t enjoy this task. The flags in the back were very loose and some broken which were quite a hazard. We loved the wildlife pottering around and everywhere was clean and quiet. The water to fill the bath was only luke warm so we didn’t bother to use it which was disappointing. The shower was great though. The hot tub was so relaxing especially when it stopped raining. A nice chilled 2 night break.

We stayed in Chatterly for 2 nights, perfect clean, hot tub, amazing bubble bath and surrounds! We couldn’t believe how nice the lodge was inside and out! We loved the location of the lodge, 9 was right near the restaurant which we really enjoyed an evening meal in and felt at ease even allowing our dog to come with us, we also had a superb takeaway meal and really tasty breakfast! Staff were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Highlight of the trip was the deers and peacocks, was surreal seeing them! Honestly couldn’t find a fault! We had the most amazing stay! Thank you, we can’t wait to visit again soon!

The grounds are stunning and the location to clitheroe and surrounding villages was perfect. The only criticism is that although the decor is nice it is also very tired. This was the case for both the restaurant and the lodge itself. Chairs in the restaurant booths need replacing asap in the lodge, the kitchen units were chipped and the sofa was very stained. Despite this we would return but would only pay the £299 midweek deal due to the finishes overall. If these were updated it would have been perfect.
