Collected our welcome pack from the bar. The lady who gave us our pack was very welcoming and warm. Our lodge was lovely, very clean the only thing we have to mention is the kettle. Would of been better to have an electric one instead of having to boil one on the hob. This is just me, as I like a couple of cuppas before the start of my day 😅. It was just it took a while for the kettle to boil. Our bed was really comfortable and the added bonus was the rose petals laid out and the free bottle of bubbly in tje fridge. Hot tub was lovely top just the right temperature with the warm weather we had whilst we stayed here. Seeing the deer roaming free was fantasic. Just sitting tjere having our breakfast and there they were looking at us. That was brilliant. Thank you all for a fantasic stay. We will be back definitely

A stunning location in super grounds. Superb accommodation. Things a little quiet as the full season hadn't started yet, which suited us anyway. Liked the hot tub although had to share it with the Peacock, which sat on top, but we found this entertaining and it moved... A stunning location in super grounds. Superb accommodation. Liked the hot tub although had to share it with the Peacock, which sat on top, but we found this entertaining and it moved when we needed it. Lots of superb walks nearby and we were lucky with the weather. Booked the massage, which was excellent and if we lived nearer would certainly use her again, although next time would go for the relaxing one not the deep muscle one, as we soon found out where our tension was.

The scenery and surrounding area was beautiful, making it very relaxing. The lodge was also lovely and comfortable and quiet. The only comment would be that the jacuzzi was extended hot and could not be turned down and the lights didn’t work on it, meaning it wasn’t... The scenery and surrounding area was beautiful, making it very relaxing. The lodge was also lovely and comfortable and quiet. The only comment would be that the jacuzzi was extended hot and could not be turned down and the lights didn’t work on it, meaning it wasn’t as inviting at nighttime. The lodge also advertised petals on the bed and bottle of champagne on arrival, this was not received which was a little disappointing. Overall a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
