Staff friendly.Fixed bed very comfortable.Tent clean.Good showers and proper flushing toilets.Camp bed not great quality for the £15 supplement. - take your own if you've got one! You'll need the bedding for it as well. For the price I was expecting a bit more. Maybe a small electric kettle and a hospitality tray to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. Maybe a gas stove to cook on, crockery and cutlery etc. There were some plastic drinking vessels but nothing to put in them!I have glamped before on other sites where this kind of thing was provided. As guests at a wedding on the estate, it was super convenient.

I stayed in Ribblesdale glamping on 26th August for 2 nights with my 3 children and my friend and her children stayed in a tent next to us. When we arrived it looked perfect and were all excited, loved the lights round the field and quirky toilets and when we opened the tent we were happy too untill we walked into it and it was like walking on a water bed, underneath must have been swamped with water which is understandable camping but not what we had in mind for luxury glamping, if they were on a more permanent base that wouldn’t happen. My son’s camp bed was extremely wet and when he woke in the night his pillow and sleeping bag were then wet from lying on it so had to squeeze in bed with me and my other child. The second day was rather wet but we had a lovely day off site at one of your recommended places but when we returned under the tent was even more went and it had started to come through under the double bed and near the door so we had to go home and not stay the second night.

We stayed at Ribblesdale park for 2 nights the 1st night after checking in at 4 was fine the children loved it. Although one of the children’s camp beds where wet through and in out friends teepee it was swamped like walking on a water bed.The showers kept going from absolutely boiling to freezing so couldn’t have a decent shower. The 2nd day it rained and the teepees started to get wet inside and my daughter’s camp bed started to get wet. So decided to pack up and cut out stay short. This wasn’t a glamping experience for me. I’ve been actual camping in a tent and had a better experience there where the facilities and showers were nice.

Nothing really close by apart from Mrs Dowsons farm. The tent was very boggy and not as big as I initially thought. The bed sheets were not clean. The restaurant was small for the whole of the site Expensive glamping as only allowed to check in at 4pm and leave at 10am I wouldn’t do glamping again

We booked 2 glamping tents for Bank Holiday weekend, our 25th anniversary, and left after the first night.Site bar and restaurant closes at 8pm, there is nowhere to go except your tent if the weather is bad. Patio furniture is splitting apart, if you hope to light the firepit bring kindling and firelighters. The light ropes running round the center of the field are on all night so bring sleep masks, and don't expect to stargaze due to the light pollution created. The mattress is cheap and uncomfortable. There are coathangers with nowhere to hang them, but I suppose that could solve the kindling problem. You'll need a kettle and cups etc too as none provided.7 am start for logging in the woods behind is smashing too, saves alarm clocks. Also need a 4x4 ideally as the lanes are rough, like really rough.Seasoned campers and these people have no idea what glamping is. I'm still upset at our ruined anniversary.

For the price of the luxury bell tent I would have expected better facilities and customer service. I had ordered 2 camp beds for my children but these were not provided and I had to chase them up. The washing facilities for cooking were very basic and would benefit from a covered area. The toilets and showers were fine but the toilets were not cleaned regularly. A small fridge/kettle or another electric point would have been useful in the tent given that you are charging over £100 a night. I think a price of around £60 would be more reflective of the facilities. Signage around the site was poor - I had no idea where the swimming pool was or the wedding tipi location and I had to ask your gardener (she was very helpful). Service in the restaurant was poor - we had to wait over an hour for our food and with 4 hungry children this was not easy. One of the kids meals was missing and the chef had to cook it after he brought it over and apologised which was appreciated.

Firstly the good, we didn't have to set up or take down a tent in the pouring rain, bed was firm and comfy, handy to have 2 power sockets and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Also nice There was 2 football nets for the kids plus great that the peacocks and deer just wander the site. The bad... the festoon lighting stays on all night so it's never dark in your tent making it hard to sleep. In the rain you have to brush your teeth outside with no cover which isn't pleasant. There is no hot water so don't consider trying to cook for yourself and people leave the toilet doors open so the toilet roll is continuously soggy with rain. The lights in the toilet don't work at night and the sinks wernt cleaned so they were full of food, toilet roll. There are only 4 toilets for a campsite with 10 tents that could contain 4 people in each. The floor in tent was very uneven and a bog was under half our tent in number 4. Water never came through but it was unnerving to walk on.

Such a beautiful place. The bar/restuarant is highly recommended. Food is beautiful & great service. We stayed in the tippi, our children 2 & 6 had a great time. Spent the morning ans evening playing with all the other children on the site. The only negative was.. people letting their children play out from 5:30am, this did dampen our weekend as we were all exhausted. I feel the rules need to me bore strict regarding this. I have 2 young kids and wouldn’t dream of letting them wake the whole site at that hour. A fight almost broke out about this between 2 other families. But other than that this is a brilliant site/location. Beautifully kept. Toilets/ showers spottles. Will more than likely return over the next few years.

What an amazing place to stay!! The surroundings are amazing!! I would return again here to Ribblesdale but most certainly not glamping!! The idea was great, a little adventure for me and my husband for our 15th wedding anniversary, tents where spacious and beds were surprisingly comfortable, the site was well maintained, clean, a little slice of the perfect english country side!! Then there was the neighbours from hell with their 3 feral children that woke us up at 5.30 in the morning, squealing and shouting and mimicking the local wildlife, parents had no consideration for others sleeping at that time and did not ask them to be quiet, other children on the site played football out on the green with their parents till 11pm, The local manor house to the side of the glamping field pumped music out till all hours of the morning and I was glad to get home for some sleep!! The restaurant and beer garden on site where gorgeous and the food to die for, the staff amazing, helpful and friendly

We stayed at the bell tents for 2 nights. The Glamping area is beautiful, plenty of space for the children to play and run around. The bell tents are spacious with comfortable beds, perfect for those wanting to experience a camping kind of holiday without the hassle of putting tents, blowing up air beds etc. Each tent has an area with table and chairs and a fire pit. You can walk to the park on-site restaurant, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk, really nice walk by the fields and lodges.Plenty of parking, there is a walk from the car to the bell tent as they don’t allow cars onto the Glamping site area itself…small price to pay for knowing the kids can run around freely without having to look out for cars.
