We stayed here for a break away and it was wonderful. The cottage was very nice, cosy and clean. We had a hot tub and a spacious garden. The staff were really friendly and it was a lovely place to stay with plenty of walks and things to do. The only thing that we were not keen on, was the toilet made a funny noise and kept us awake a few times and the menu in the restaurant didn’t have much choice.

Clean and well appointed accommodation in a great setting.

Stayed again in September hoping improvements had been made since my stay in January. Sadly not the case. Although I can't fault the site I feel the accommodation still let's it down. The hot tub had not bar on the lid so you can imagine how heavy this was resulting in us only using the hot tub once as it was impossible to work the lid as it was just so heavy. The bathroom still has no blind and an additional wasp nest and the kettle in the kitchen still a gas one which doesn't work even though I requested electric due to it not working months prior . Although we still enjoyed our stay these things still let it down and sad to see have not been looked at months later.

Attended a family wedding and everything was excellent. It should be pointed out that it is advisable for the females in the party to wear comfortable shoes and expect a fair amount of walking on gravel paths and grsss. I personally rely on a wheelchair with assistance and struggled with the terrain.

We stayed for 4 nights in Deer Park Lodge which on first impressions was great. Lovely hot tub and everything seemed just fine. On closer inspection the kitchen appeared to be just on its last legs. The freezer door was pretty much hanging off, the decking to the hot tub was slimy and rotting in quite a few places and the boiler flue made a high pitched whistling sound whenever it was in use. This was touted as five star accommodation but it simply isn’t. The on-site pool isn’t open on Mondays and Fridays for some reason, so left us with only 3 out of our 5 days to make use of it. This information was not apparent until we checked in and asked. The staff in general were fine but again not five star. Hindelini’s restaurant was okay for a lunchtime meal but again 3 star at best. We popped in to the local village to The White Bull which was similarly priced to Hindelini’s but was infinitely better in every way.Sorry to be so negative but it’s the truth. A very expensive 3 star st

I've stayed at Ribblesdale Park several times since 2016, and it used to offer 5* accommodation and service at 5* prices. Unfortunately last month we stayed at Deerpark Lodge and the accommodation is dated and tired and the service we received was poor and arrogant.This included cancellation of early check in via email 2 hours before arrival (and no refund to date), leaking hot tub that we were expected to refill every morning, a screeching boiler when using hot water, no utensils for bbq, no working TV etc etcGiven their prices, this was disappointing and when queries were raised they were either ignored or brushed off. The park is beautiful, with lovely walks but I doubt we will be back given our latest experience.

Arrived at cottage, check in easy, cottage location perfect, surroundings neat tidy and park well kept.Hot tub nice and hot, good to have plenty of towels, cottage as it looked in the photos, a bit dusty in places but not terrible and prob exasperated by the log fire, bathroom clean etc. we had a fabulous time! Loved that it felt really spacious, beautiful character property in Deerpark lodge.Would certainly come back!

The cottage was spacious, comfy and next to the restaurantIt would be nice to have some extras included, salt and pepper, cleaning spray.Also mats near the front doorThe oven needs replacing as pictures are rubbing away and it also needs a deep cleanIf it wasn’t for the comments above, Ribblesdale would have got 5 stars the staff are really friendly and helpful.The grounds and walks are beautifulWe will be returning

Location and accommodation was amazing. Decor inside Deerpark cottage felt cosy and high quality. My only suggestions for improvement would be in the kitchen - the oven didn't work properly (dials had rubbed off and it couldn't sustain very high temperatures). In addition a new sponge and some kitchen spray would have been expected. Apart from that it was great.
