Suitable for Families | Camp Fires | Instant Booking |
Welcome to Gisburne Park Estate, one of Lancashire’s finest private estates, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. A 1000 acres of picturesque Ribble Valley countryside, owned and managed by Amber and Guy Hindley and family. Nestled within the Estate is Ribblesdale Park, the North of England’s leading hot tub holiday destination. A collection of contemporary lodges, historic houses, cosy cottages or glorious glamping.
While every campsite in the country bursts at the seams, discover our exclusive glamping village of just 10 widely spaced, luxurious five metre bell tents. Nestled within a historic Grade 1 listed, 1000 acre private estate, each tent is fully furnished. Expect home from home comforts, with a double bed, king sized duvet and electric power, while outside a decked area contains table and chairs and your own fire pit. Our magical glamping site is perfect for couples, families, and group bookings.
Located in a magnificent 6 acre field under the shadows of our Grade 1 mansion house your luxury belle tent looks out onto miles of peace and quiet. A 5 min stroll up hill and you’ll be in the heart of the holiday village where you will find our onsite restaurant Hindelinis. A 5 min stroll in the opposite direction and you’re at our heated outdoor swimming pool.
Check in is located at Main Park, within Hindelinis, our on-site Bar & Restaurant. Once you have your allocation details, we will then direct you to our Glamping Village, and your designated pitch.
Included in your accommodation is 1 double bed including a sprung mattress, a king size duvet, pillows & pillowcases, 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels and a cosy blanket.
Kids are incredibly welcome at Ribblesdale. We provide camp beds but not bedding for kids. There are acres and acres of safe space for them to play in and explore.
Onsite you will see our quirky little shower shacks and toilets that are just a short distance away from your bell tent. These are individual cubicles / stalls for greater privacy and cleanliness.
We supply a small amount of wood for your fire pit, once used you can purchase more wood/kindling from the Texaco petrol station on the main road A59 (BB7 4ES) open 7am-8pm. Please note, we do not provide any fire lighting equipment and all fire pits must remain in the same position as found on arrival.
Your Bell tent comes fully fitted with 2 electrical plug sockets, you will find this at the base of the bed frame on the right hand side.
BBQ’s with charcoal are available to

Glazing tent was brilliant and very happy with it apart from the floor have a large wet patch. The restaurant First evening the service brilliant and very accommodating however the food of which were pizza were missing toppings and very below par for the price. I booked a table for the next evening with my details and phone number as was happy to try something else of the menu. Arrive the next evening at the booked time to be told no booking exists and a extremely rude young waitress who was not very pleased to actual seat us. Overall the 4 service personally were very poor. We were served out starter's and then our mains before any drinking had arrived which I had to request a few times. Also the menu was missing many items as they had run out of stock. The chosen meal was bit the best and very bland. I had to ask the waiters to take away our plates when we had finished and we were not asked how the meal was. Upon payment I explained the issues we had to which the waitres

Highlights Beautiful venue Lovely breakfast Attentive staff in the restaurant Plenty of drink choice Clean glamping toilets Lovely animals walking around the estate Loved that the pub is dog friendly Family friendly Check in was not clear. On the confirmation says there is a tipi. We drove around & finally asked & were told to go the restaurant. Lady was nice but very rushed & distracted. We’re told to call if we wanted a BBQ but we called several times and no one answered. My husband had to walk to reception and again felt rushed. It said on the email that you must check out however we wanted to leave before 9am but had to wait till the restaurant opened & it seemed pretty pointless because they didn’t note anything down when I checked out Loads of vege options at breakfast in the restaurant but not much choice in the evening Not a criticism but would be helpful if you had a recommended check list of what to bring ( lighters / waterproofs etc )

In a brill area for walks/short drives to nice villages. Lots of wildlife around, very relaxing. On-site restaurant was nice, prices strange - some items made with cheap ingredients were expensive eg; pancake mix but a nice thick sliced bacon butty was reasonable. Service was good. The pool was lovely, comfy loungers. Shame it can’t be open till 6pm, 4pm is early to close when going out on walks. It would have been nice if the toilets were cleaned everyday on the campsite, they were ok but it’s just those little extra things that make a difference esp if all tents are full. I had to move toilet roll around to make sure each toilet had some. I think the camp beds may need updating soon, the legs seemed wobbly but ok for now. Overall, a lovely experience.

On the morning of arrival a txt msg was received to advise which glamping tent was ours and a gate code. We eventually arrived after confusion with the post code and there was no staff to greet on arrival. Car couldn’t be taken to yurt, so had to carry belongings across the field to tent. Yurt was well presented and clean. Advertised as two electric sockets, one was used for internal lighting for the evening. Take your own kettle if you need warm drinks etc. Gorgeous surroundings and plenty wildlife about. Toilets/shower shacks remained clean until last evening, some toilets then questionable. Toilet roll provided, but would always take own too. Pool was only open 10-4, so was already closed on arrival day, managed one swim on Thursday AM. No sign posts or staff members for directions to places, such as the restaurant, pool or surrounding walks. Good for a couple of days away, but wouldn’t personally return now we’ve been. Not enough activities for children. Expensive for what it is.

The photos on the website make it look so idyllic…… don’t be fooled or waste your money. The place is very difficult to find, no road signs and the road leading to the site is really rough and rubble. When you finally find the site it looks very deserted…. There is a car park - not signed or clear - to park your car in. You then have to carry all your things over to your tent. The grass was too long, and wet. If it had been cut it would have been easier to walk on. All footwear got absolutely soaked. The contents of the tent were very basic. Literally a bed, lamp and 2 electric sockets. No where to prepare food, no facilities such as kettle or toaster which for £100 a night there is no excuse for!! The toilets and showers weren’t cleaned. The only running water was at a sink next to the toilets where everyone used the same sinks to wash up, wash hands and brush teeth. There is no hot water!!! So unhygienic. No hand sanitiser in the toilets.

We loved the place, we thought the glamping was amazing and the place it was in was beautiful however upon booking and the website it looked like it was a more grown up place. We shared the glamping site with mostly everyone being a family with Children. Children are just genuinely loud and noisy so we felt that ‘this is a place to unwind’ was a bit mis-sold. It just felt that on the website it was for couples and there was only one other couple on the site and we didn’t feel like we could fully relax as children were quite noisy and crying. But the place itself was beautiful and we did enjoy ourselves.
