Lovely setting but the accommodation left a bit to be desired. On arrival, the "allocated" parking for our accommodation was taken. This was repeated all week and not once were we able to utilise the designated space. It's hardly surprising though as there are no signs to instruct drivers Secondly, no keys were available for the accommodation so couldn't lock the doors. At about 1830 on arrival day one of the cleaning staff returned with a set that they had unfortunately taken home. No spare keys?? The hot tub been cleaned and made ready. This process had used the outside tap which was left leaking. Notified to reception and they duly arranged repair. As the staff weren't sure where the stop-cock was they had a good look under the sink. Unfortunately, this knocked the U-bend off so when we washed up there was a nice amount of water leaking. Pool was freezing, heating not working Kitchen is very tired. Nearly an hour to heat oven to 165oC !

In peak season, it would be great if the opening hours of the pool could be extended. The cottage had great proportions and the hot tub in the garden was perfect for relaxation. However, some of the finishes in the kitchen and the equipment provided could be further improved to match the standard of the rest of the accommodation. Staff were helpful and approachable throughout. Across the site facilities were clean and well-maintained. Lovely walks around the estate and walking distance to the village which has a small but well-stocked cafe/deli. A great location for rest, relaxation and good proximity to local attractions and shopping such as Skipton, Bolton Abbey and Clitheroe.

Stayed in deerpark cottage it was lovely but could do with a few touch ups. The garden was lovely and a nice area. Parking could sometimes be an issue we had an allocated parking area however it was never available as the owner kept theirs in there. Hot tub was not maintained as it stated it would which is a shame as it’s very nice. Staff was lovely and my little girl enjoyed her holiday!

The gardens were maintained to a very high standard, and the staff were super friendly. The hot tub and onsite swimming pool were a firm favourite with the kids along with spotting the deer that wandered around the lodges. We took our dog with us who loved the circular walks around the park, and also the local walks and tea rooms around the Dales. We would highly recommend Ribblesdale and would love to return again. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful family holiday full of happy memories.

We were expecting an idyllic cottage but instead we got a cottage in a carpark opposite the on-site pub - such a shame as the grounds of the Ribblesdale Park Estate are lovely, from the reaction of the on-site team I don’t think we were the first people to have been caught out and to be fair they did offer a refund if we didn’t want to stay but we’d driven for 5 hours to get there. The cottage itself has been well done although not well equipped for anyone who wants to cook, there wasn’t even a pan large enough to boil pasta! There are other cottages on the estate so just call in advance to check where they are located before booking and as the estate seems to be a wedding venue I’d check that there isn’t going to be a wedding whilst you’re there. We’d stay again just not in this cottage!

First impressions were good, clean, homely and beds very comfortable. Kitchen appliances could do with an update, the oven didn’t warm up and the door to the dishwasher was damaged. Outside in the private garden we enjoyed the BBQ & hot tub. This was made special by visiting deer that roam the site. The on site restaurant offers an excellent breakfast, we were however disappointed when we attended for an evening meal. All in all stunning location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spacious and comfortable with large hot tub and private garden outside. Very clean, nice bed linen and soft furnishings. Well maintained site with Deer and Peacocks roaming about. My only area for improvement would be the addition of an extra toilet in the cottage would be beneficial.
