We had a lovely two night break in one of the hoglet houses! The facilities on site were immaculate! The little shop had the perfect treats for the campfire and the pizza shack was the highlight of my son's stay! Log fires, bunk beds, chickens and campfires what's not to love!

I was looking for a cute little overnight stay with my 2 daughters while we explored the area. So happy I chose Baxby manor, we stayed in the hoglet house which was beautiful! The set up was so cosy, the place itself idyllic. My youngest was so happy seeing the chickens and lambs. It was very peaceful and staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Showers and toilets were very very clean, pizza shack was delicious. Would highly recommend to people and we will certainly be back. Thank you!

Our second time to the hideaway and no less impressive, never realised the joy you would get from creating a roaring fire in the hoglet house, staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are cozy and it’s just a beautiful place to get away a night, see you next year you saucy devils

lovely clean well equipped. helpful staff. great pizza. the only reason i could consider giving any negatives would be to discourage more people from going there, so that I can always guarantee being able to book!

We had an epic stay in the height of summer.It’s a fabulous place in the heart of Yorkshire with access to fun for all of the family.The environment is curated for a chilled and relaxed vibe, with thoughtful touches.The team are wonderful and friendly and you can even have a little pampering with a massage, facial or manicure.We’ll be back, as we have been, many a time. Baxby is a brilliant place for families. This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as the first. Clean facilities, warm welcomes and yummy food from the shack. We will be back

We stayed in the hoglet houses and thought it was good value for money. The facilities were of a very good standard and the staff were very friendly. The chickens were a nice touch for the kids to visit. The only downside would be a lack of open space for the younger children to play in directly on site, as the chickens are surrounded by tents that did seem to take up as much of the space to the hutch as possible so you did sometimes feel like you were intruding on others personal space. I would absolutely go back though, both with and without the children

My friend and I stayed in Hoglet house 4 as a 30th birthday present. The site was incredibly clean, all staff were friendly, helpful and the onsite Pizza Hut was very delicious! Check in and out was very easy. I also added on the Bronze Package which meant the Hoglet house was decorated with bunting and balloons for our arrival to highlight the celebration! And at night, the stars were so beautiful. We had the best time!My one and only negative from the whole experience was the parking. As we were in Hoglet house 4, our parking bay was in the middle, which was fine but when the other 4 cars were parked it was incredibly tight to get into. There was a bush directly in front which made it hard to get the right angle to turn/reverse in. Also, if those in bays 1, 2, 3 and 5 weren’t all parked at the same angle it took up part of our spot. We came in an Audi Q2 which is a compact SUV, so not massive… so if you have a larger car, I’m not sure it would comfortably fit.

We have stayed at Baxby Manor many times and in various different accommodation and totally love the place. It’s clean, tranquil and very relaxing.
