We stayed here recently for 2 nights as part of a road trip of North Yorkshire. The Kabina was excellent and had everything we needed. The area was so quiet and we enjoyed using the hot tub and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. We also really enjoyed our meals from the Pizza Shack on site. We had pizza one evening and breakfast sandwiches the next morning, both were delicious. We will definitely book again.

We stayed in a Kabina and were generally very happy. It's a beautiful setting and the fire pit and hot tub were great. We had our 2 kids with us and could probably have done with more space, so will try and book a cabin with bunk beds next time. The Pizza Shack food is... The Pizza Shack food is really good and there's a very handy shop which sells snacks and locally brewed beer and cider.

The site is fantastic, we stayed in the Kabinas - utter luxury glamping. We spent two nights and three days in the area. Everything works well in the Kabinas, small and perfectly formed kitchen, wonderful shower and bathroom, tastefully designed and all the mod cons. Fresh Pizzas and Mexican available on site from a Tuesday. Plum and Partridge pub is in walking distance and fabulous (but it doesn't open on a Mon and Tues). There's an Alpaca farm down the road if you fancy taking them for a walk, we flew a glider next door at Baxby Airsports, we went paddle boarding in Richmond, Turkish Baths and Betty's in Harrogate, a stroll round York for some shopping, watched a film at York Imax and popped for a Black Sheep tour in Masham. Or just chill onsite in the hot tub, and lay relaxing in the Kabina with incredible views of the camp site, make a fire and play board games!

We had the most wonderful weekend in one of the Kabina's celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was the perfect venue. Peace and tranquility. The hot tub was amazing, sat underneath the stars listening to the wild life and relaxing. Barney was a wonderful host and made it so special. We had pizza on the first night from the pizza shack. Delicious! Treated ourself to breakfast the next morning. Matt makes a mean coffee!! Sat in the sunshine before a lovely long walk in the countryside. The perfect weekend. We will definitely be booking to go back.
