Glamping pod looked great at first but very disappointed at all the dog hairs especially on the bed & bedding. Cleanliness is really important to me & I couldn’t relax, I understand pets are allowed but even still I wouldn’t expect it to have all those hairs. My kids really enjoyed it & if the cleanliness was better we would of stayed again, in my eyes it was a wasted £100. Would I stay again no, would I recommend it no.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini break for my 30th birthday Pod had everything you could ask for and was very comfortable, more of a Thorough clean would be advisable though as we found many cobwebs, thick dust above pictures, fire blanket etc, dried on food in side fridge and scum around bathroom taps ( which did wipe off easily) Although with was not great, it didn’t effect our stay as we came to relax and that we did.

"Excellent overnight stay"

Mrs J Swift - Stayed with family, Aug 2019

We stayed here for one night in a pod, which was great. It was very compact and cosy. It’s great having your own toilet and shower. It’s in a great location for Alton Towers and the surrounding area is lovely.

"Stayed in a bluebell glamping pod"

Lovely quiet location, lovely little pod. I would recommend they add some shelving above the bed to offer a bit of storage. I would recommend they add some shelving above the bed to offer a bit of storage. The sofa bed isn’t suitable for 2 people.. one side is higher than the other, and it’s not much wider than a single bed. My husband spent 2 nights on the floor, consequently. Also, the hob is induction, so normal pans don’t work on it.. we took our own and couldn’t use them.

Ms S Beardmore - Stayed with family, Jul 2019

My one and only issue was the cleanliness. The sofa bed hadn’t been cleaned and was really dusty and was dirty behind it and underneath, And when we pulled the table out the floor was covered in crumbs from the previous people. On the surface it was clean it was just that no one had pulled out the sofa or table.

The pod was small but perfectly formed and was absolutely immaculate. The first night it rained, but we were super cosy inside our little pod with the rain clattering down outside. The kitchenette meant we could easily dine indoors. Our only slight glitch was we couldn't get the hob to work. It looked brand new and was digital, so instructions on how to use it would have been helpful in the welcome book. It didn't spoil our evening though as we just used the microwave instead. We all had a brilliant night's sleep and had a very easy drive to Alton Towers the next day. That night the weather was on our side, so we got to use the fire pit and toast marshmallows, which was great fun. On our final morning, we explored the site a bit. We enjoyed some lovely views and my daughter was happy to stumble across the play park! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to planning our next trip. We'll definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely trip.
