Great location for a short break away whilst visiting Alton Towers, Bluebell plus glamping pod had everything we needed for a 2 night stay and great that it fitted a family of 5 in which is hard to find. Shower was lovely and warm and surroundings were very peaceful. Will definately look to stay again.

Check in was simple, clear instructions in the email sent. On arrival at our pod we commented on how clean it was. There is a 2 burner hob, microwave and small fridge. Enough to do basic camping style meals. The shower was great even my teenage children were asking to shower! All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. All I would say is have footwear suitable for walking in a damp forest. The setting of the pods is beautiful, but as such the pathways (especially if it's been rain lately) are boggy. Quarry walk are clearly working on this with their limited means (it is set in woodland, can't create concrete paths!). If you go prepared for this it is not an issue at all. If you love a camping style holiday without the hassle I would highly recommend Quarry walk park. The photos are from the end of our 4 night stay, the beds were far better presented and neat when we arrived!

Really great opportunity to be close to family and spend time outside

Overall we love quarry walk park. We have previously stayed as a couple and this time as a family of 4. We are planning a stay around Christmas with other members of the family.This time around it was great again. Cabin was warm, beds where comfortable and overall we had a great time. 2 things I can think of that could do with improving..The cleanliness of the shower. One iof our favourite things from the first time we stayed was how amazing the shower was in the cabin. The different modes ie side jets and rain overheadsetting. I was a bit disappointed this time that because the heads needed a good clean that the side jets and overhead wasn't working as it should. Most holes where blocked so it didn't work as well. Another thing I was slightly confused about was the Internet. Maybe it should be clearer that you inly get 3 devices to sign in. It left one of our children without and unable to rectify without having to buy more. This should be made clearer upon purchase.

We had real difficulty booking our stay while on the road. The payment system kept hanging online so we phoned to pay by phone. Not possible apparently. No help offered at all, just excuses like "it must be your end!" Eventually we had to get our son to do it from home.The whole process wasted a couple of hours. On arrival we asked for the wifi code only to be told there was a charge of £8 for wifi. On air Bnb it states wifi in facilities.You cant have it both ways, with the booking system relying on the internet.In this day and age wifi should not be an extra. There is zero phone signal on site so we had to pay for wifi. When we logged on it was next to useless. Could just about load Google but the wifi was unusably slow!! The cabin was nice enough but the heating was a single, luke-warm radiator, in November! My wife slept with her clothes on!!Focus on profit overshadowed what could so easily be a wonderful experience.

A nice and cozt room with comfy beds and a nice bathroom. We made a cooked breakfast the next morning. It was a little muddy, which was fine we just couldn't see as it was dark when we arrived and we couldn't get the TV working.

This was our second stay at Quarry Walk and this time we chose the Bluebell plus glamping pod, as we had our grandson with us. It was in the perfect spot for us. Nothing in front but trees.There was plenty of space inside for the three of us and our two small dogs.It was clean, cosy and well equipped. There was always plenty of hot water and the shower was amazing (once we worked out how to use the different settings).The weather was pretty grim but it didn't stop us exploring and enjoying the site, as best we could. Just a couple of little niggles... used as a settee, the sofa bed has to be the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on, sorry. A sweeping brush would be more useful than a small brush and pan.Also, I suppose there will always be dog owners who think the rules don't apply to them and allow their dogs to run around off lead. Maybe they need it tattooing on their foreheads.The staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely weekend. Thank you.

We stayed in the bluebell plus pod and what a lovely little pod it is. Sleeps 6 easily , has all the amenities you need even down to the little touches like washing up liquid and hand gel. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again. Very clean, good parking. Didn't explore the park but did see the little shop. Check in and out was easy. Close to Alton Towers as this is where we'd come from. Close to the nearest town if you needed supplies or a takeaway. Overall a lovely little park.

Overall very good value and pleasant staff. Cabins were reasonably well stocked and in good condition. Only real let down was no towels in the cabin to take a shower and we didn’t bring our own on this occasion

Great stay in glamping cabin. Very comfortable and spacious cabin for the evening. Arrived for time to walk around the lovely setting of the grounds. Fire pit logs were more than plenty toast our marsh mallows in the communal fire pit. Great setting and was well situated for our trip to theme park. Would love to revisit and take in some walks in the local countryside knowing we can return to the comfort of the cabins.
