Overall we.loved the pod experience.Highlights were the fire pit, the walk round the site and lack of WiFi. The pod was a perfect size for grandparents, daughter and grandaughter.We went to Alton Towers We enjoyed the drive down the country lanes.We had booked with a woucher which stated that the cabin which was for upto 6 people came with a towel pack. We assumed that a towel pack would cover the amount of people staying which was 4. We were only given towels for 2 people and when Irequested another pack I was told I would have to pay extra - very poor customer relations.The kitchen had everything we needed except it only had one relatively small.scaucepan and a tiny frying pan. Luckily we had brought towels and cooking equipment with us

This is the second time we have stayed. Beds are comfortable but cooking facilities are lacking. 2 hob and a small fridge so with 2 younger children quite hard to cook a meal. We stayed for 3 nights and we enjoyed it. WiFi was awful even after buying it which cost extra.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. If staying longer, I would book a cabin rather than a Pod, purely for space inside, but for 2 nights it was ideal and comfy. Whilst the keysafe is handy to collect your keys on arrival, it did seem a bit sad that there was no welcome, just to say hello.Overall I'd recommend this place and would consider staying again if ever in the area.

The staff were really welcoming. I hadn’t received a text with a code to collect my key but the lovely lady in the reception/well stocked shop fetched it for me straight away.The glamping pod was very comfortable with extra thick mattresses and fresh white linen.There was only one slight issue with the cleaning which I found but apart from that, the pod was very clean throughout.. The kitchenette is well equipped (there isn’t an oven) with lots of crockery and cutlery. The very large wood burning fire pit is ideal for those who want to BBQ. The site and staff are charming.With Alton Towers only 15 minutes drive away, it is perfect after a day of walking and waiting for the rides.We booked for 3 night and we certainly would have loved to stay longer.Will definitely stop there again. I would like to thank the lady who phoned me when I got home to let me know I’d left a few things behind. 5* Excellent value for money.A wonderful get away from it all.

The location was good, very quiet. Great cabins and facilities. Fire pit included. Would recommend.

This time we stayed in the daisy pods plus, we wanted the extra space and better bed for my Son, it was the right decision. Rather than the click clack bed in the normal size pods everyone has a proper bed to sleep in. The bunk beds are huge and loads of space. The head height between beds mean you don’t bump your head either when getting out of bed. Would still prefer a bigger fridge but as long as you know this you can work around the food you bring with you. We stay here to go to Alton Towers as it’s only a short drive away. Close to Cheadle for some nice shops, restaurants and an Asda or Morrisons to get supplies. We will be back

We went for a night away for my son’s birthday. We payed £10 for the wifi, and the smart tv wasn’t working and wouldn’t connect to the internet. We had an engineer out who spent nearly half an hour sorting it out but it still wouldn’t work which was disappointing as we’d planned to have a movie night for his birthday! He then suggested going to the shop to get a dvd. When we got to the shop the shop was closed so we couldn’t. We also had a shower in the evening to which the shower head wasn’t working, and the ‘massage shower’ did not live up to what it was meant to be as the jets weren’t working either. Regret wasting our money on WiFi for it not to work.We also went to have a drink and all of the cups were dirty and stained. Very disappointing as we hoped for a good weekend for my son’s birthday.

We stayed for o e night as we had booked the polar express at churnet valley. The kids and adults all loved our accommodation. It was very clean and lots of room. We had a problem with the TV bit staff came to fix it straight away and were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again
