Right from booking to leaving, great experience. Well sign posted, SatNav helped too. Unfortunately we had poor weather, so hindered our walks around the grounds. So much to see, without going into the Wild Boar Park we fed the donkeys & alpacas almost every day. Saw Emus, Water Buffalo, so many different types of ducks, geese, pheasants, peacocks. Our break was out of school holidays, but had free access to the Park at the weekend, It was a pleasure to stroll around, enclosures for the animals were large and all the animals looked happy in their surroundings. We used our stay as a base, visiting Southport, Morecombe, Leighton Hall, Clitheroe Castle & Museum, Holme Mill in Clitheroe. Had an evening meal at the Sun Inn in Chipping, excellent food.Easington Fell Lodge, was comfy & warm, heating on in June! We were the 1st guests to stay for a whole week in the Lodge, helped to iron out a few of the teething problems and every thing was sorted quickly and without fuss.Staff brilliant

We had an amazing stay at Bowland Escapes.The team are super friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for you from start to finish.We stayed in Easington Fell which is a 3 bedroomed Lodge, it was pure luxury with all you needed for your stay and more.Having the Boar Park at the bottom just made you totally relax and you could be as busy or as laid back as you wanted to be.The on site shop sold a good variety of burgers and sausages so we hired the bbq and had an all day outside bbqing on and off.The site is spotlessly clean, we used the camp area sinks to clean the bbq as didn't want to use the sink in the lodge, if I had realised how clean everything was then I may have even considered camping which is unheard of for me. If you are camping then the facilities are spotless.The whole vibe of the site is just beautiful with the peacocks coming up for a visit but we also saw a wild deer, an owl and a huge hare.We will definitely be back, the Safari tent i

Our stay at Bowland Escapes was one that I had been anticipating for a very long time. I knew that it would be special when I received an email just before Christmas asking if we would like to have a Christmas tree in our lodge. And there it was upon our arrival sparkling with all the warmth of home. We had some driving difficulties, so our arrival was much later than we had expected. We live in the USA, and my planning could have been better. I had not anticipated how quickly it becomes dark in North England at the end of December, but the crew at Bowland Escapes knew exactly what to do. They again went above and beyond anything that I could have imaged. Our accomodations were cozy and extremely comfortable. Our host helped us to buy provisions on the holday weekend, and we enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen.
