Situated at Barrhill Holiday Park a short distance from the coastal town of Girvan, Barrhill Holiday Park is the perfect place to come for a quiet and relaxing break to get away from it all. Our park is 17 miles from Newton Stewart and has the famous 7 Stanes mountain biking tracks on its door step.
Galloway Forest is a designated “Dark Skies” area and is perfect for star gazing, only 10 miles from us and is registered as a International dark sky park, one of only a few in Europe!
Ideal for a short break for couples or a families, your home for your break will be one of 3 luxury pods (sleeps 3), 5 Deluxe pods (sleeps 5) and 2 Stargazer pods (sleeps 6) – all of which come with its own private electric hot tub at Barrhill Holiday Park.
Beside the pod is a 6 seater hot tub which is always ready to use, no waiting about or planning when to use it like some other wood fired hot tubs! Our hot tub’s are all electric, meaning they are ready to sit in at any point during your stay.
Outside you have space to park your car a picnic table and a fire pit – perfect for roasting your marshmallows.
Communal kitchen facilities are provided in the “The Cook House” which is a short distance from your pod, where there is 2 gas hobs a sink and some cooking utensils. There are also tables and chairs where you can sit and eat.
Your pod comes equipped with a TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, beds, mattresses, toilet and wash hand basin, heating, lighting, sockets.
*Please note* You will still need to bring all your usual camping gear – sleeping bags/duvet, pillows, cups, plates, cutlery, toilet roll, towels, and enough food for your stay.

Came here with my partner and 3 kids. We all had an amazing time and would highly recommend. The astrologer pod was fantastic and very spacious. We managed to fit a travel cot inside even with the 2 double & 2 single beds. Nice to have the toilet located within the pod & the showers aren’t too far away. The cookhouse was an added extra to have the hob & toaster. We visited during Easter weekend and had the added bonus of an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter bunny. Children enjoyed this & the park. Of course having the hot tub was fantastic. I would suggest supplying a doormat & maybe a mop/bucket due to being wet when coming in from the hot tub. Other than that no complaints and will be back in the summer time.

As usual we had a great time at barrhill, hot tub was super and astrologer pod excellent, great size for just 2 of us but had plenty of room.Philip the host is friendly and if you need or looking for something just ask if he can help he will.

The staff were amazing, they answered the phone instantly. The place was very clean. It was very relaxing my daughter loved it we were near the park and there were places to walk if wanted to. Only thing I would have changed is bedding provided as it's alot for families to pack and try fit in the car along with everything else. But I can understand why they don't. Maybe a rental service of bedding could help?

We had a really chilled weekend here. Exactly what the plan was, we had the added extra of the fireworks in the village which was good.

Had a lovely few days at Barhill in the Astrologer Pod. Pod was spacious and nice and clean Site is well kept. Hot tub was an added bonus.

Great 2 nights with my mate. We stayed in pod astrologer which could sleep 6 hot tub definitely a winner even in the heavy showers lovely quiet park kid friendly and even met friends who have their own van berthed here what were the chances lol will defo be back soon for longer😁😁

previously went wit our 2 boys 4& 5 yrs for 2 nites we loved it that much that I booked a long weekend for my partners birthday & again was amazing. No matter what the weather its a perfect way to spend the weekend wit family or friends. Philip & his family are so welcoming couldn't do enough to make ur stay the best. Great on site facilities & just a wee drive to restaurants can even get a food delivered too highly recommend barrhill to everyone

Had a great couple of days glamping. The accommodation was clean and had the basics we needed.We all loved the hot tub and the fire with cooking rack really gave a camping feel. The kids especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows and seeing the peacocks in the caravan park over the road. We will definitely be back!
