The first night was relaxed and lovely but the second night a static caravan behind the fence of our hot tub had kept us up to 4am! The noise was really bad and didn’t want to contact the owner as it was that late. Including my daughter and the 2 hour drive back home the next day was dangerous as I was driving and only had several hours sleep, with being away at the back away from the main road we thought this would be quieter but it did ruin our second night there unfortunately

We have stayed here around 6 times and we still love it as much as the first visit. The owners are SO welcoming. Phil is always on hand, ready to check you in, show you the necessities and will do what he can to attend to any wishes (firewood, firelighters, etc). The pods are emaculate and are a great size for couples and families. The hot tub area is always clean and tidy to the highest standard. The pods are equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridge, and TV. All pods have a toilet with a sink, and if you don't have a shower, the shower blocks are a two minute walk. The shower blocks are also emaculate and equipped with a hairdryer. The cookhouse is direct to the pods which is fully equipped with all utensils including pots, pans, cutlery, tables and chairs. There is a playpark direct to the pods and the village of Barrhill is within walking distance. Girvan is a 15/20 minute drive. I highly recommend this place. I would be VERY surprised if anyone left disappointed.

We found the site clean, quiet and peaceful but I feel it would improve with a small shop on site as it is a bit isolated however we had a good time and found the staff very friendly and helpful 👍

We would love to have a shop on site but its one of those things we can't justify. There is a shop in Barrhill which is 1 mile from the park and is very well stocked and does hot & cold food. Philip

Cook house doesn’t have an oven.Pod was dirty all the corners hadn’t been cleaned. Less than quarter of a toilet roll for 2 people for 2 days I feel no one should get the leftovers of other guests toilet rolls.Hot tub was good.Guy who showed us how to work it was nice.I won’t go back, just a bit too basic for us. We don’t mind basic but do expect clean. Could be doing with a hook or something to hang a towel in the toilet.

Hi, thanks for your review. We can only apologize if you felt the pod wasn't up to standard, we take cleaning to a high standard and is mentioned a lot in other reviews. Toilet roll is on the list of things to bring with you, so it sounds like you forgot to bring toilet roll, if a guest leaves some behind we don't believe in throwing it out as the next guest can make use of it. The decking where the hot tub is was green and very slippy (I slipped). The fridge did not fit the space and had front leg missing, which ment it toppled over when the door was opened. Toilet was very little and you had the sink in your face when you sat down. Floor had marks all over it. Front door kept sticking and was hard to open and close. Over all very run down and could do with an up grade. Pod not luxury as advertised!

Excellent long weekend although started off poor but came good. Pod spacious enough for the two of us and the hot tub was sensational. We did find it too hot when weather changed but Philip turned it down for us. You have to take own bedding and plates etc but no major dramas just remember the toilet rolls 😀
