Our Shepherd's Hut sleeps four guests, it includes a double, single bunk above and another single bed that pulls out from underneath the double. This can be tucked away to create more space in the day. We provide bed sheets and pillows, but you'll have to bring your own sleeping bag and towels.

We want you to enjoy the cosiness of our Shepherd's Hut, whether in summer or in winter, we have no doubt that you'll be plenty warm enough with the 3 kilowatt log burner inside. The Hut doesn't have electricity, but we've installed 8 battery powered remote controlled spot lights which gives more than enough light for what you need, as well as having a dimmer option for night time reading. The Hut also has a kettle to heat water on top of the log burner and there's also a 1 ringed gas stove with a set of pans for cooking. Additionally you can bring your own kit if you want more gas rings, although we believe if you're creative the BBQ, gas stove and fire pit are adequate enough! There's plates, bowels, cups & knifes & forks in the Hut if you fancy doing an evening (or breakfast?) BBQ outside in fairer weather. We charge £6 a day for rental of the gas BBQ. Bags of logs are £8 for the firepit or log burner. We also have a free tea & coffee supply topped up in the Hut for when you are ready to sit down for a Yorkshire brew. There's also a washing up bowl with cleaning equipment so you'll always be prepared for every meal. If you would like a bacon sandwich for your breakfast we offer this with a yogurt & piece of fruit for £8 & we deliver it to your glamping pod – please book in advance if you would like this.

Outside the Shepherds Hut, there is a tap, a sink for washing up and a compost loo which is also shared by other glampers. There is also an off grid shower in the woods- also shared by other glampers. The shower water is heated to the same level as a normal domestic shower, meaning you can comfortably wash in the shower. As it is a well ventilated structure, we recommend making sure you have your clothes ready to change in to once you turn the water off.

We do not have wifi in the shepherds hut itself, however the phone signal is very good in this area so you will have no trouble connecting to your 4G signal. Please bear in mind, we don't have any charging points in the hut, so bring your portable charger.
