"First time Glamper"

It was my first time camping at home in Ireland, we weren't sure if all of us in the one cabin would be a recipe for stress and argument. But it turned out brilliant...the kids made friends and were out all the time at the playground or visiting their new friends. We didn't know ourselves. The site is mature with lovely trees and planting. It also has a river with a shingle bank..it is v tranquil. Their was a lovely playground. Manmade lake with boats which was good craic for all. Small chip/burger place. Glendalough is 20 mins away so a great base to explore a lovely part of Wicklow. I have one critical comment: 1. The cooking hobs are next to useless. Bring your gas stove. The hobs have no indication to say which ring is which or what is high temperature or low. They are very slow to hear up. There is no indoor kitchen. So cooking is outdoors.

River fishing, crazy golf, adventure playgrounds and lots more to keep them happy. Clean shower block and great campers kitchen facilities. The Glamping pods were perfect, cosy and with really comfy beds. Hoping we can come back to visit again soon.

We had already stayed in a tent, a months previously and wanted to try Glamping. We stayed in a mini lodge and was very satisfied with the facilities, location and the distance. We departed from North County Dublin and it took us just over an hour to get there. I would have liked to have stayed a little longer than one night but due to commitments and matches, it was not possible, however I will return soon.

We stayed twice this summer. first visit we had to leave as rain was so heavy and there wasnt much indoor entertainment other than the cinema to keep kids entertained all day. Our second visit we had gorgeous weather and it made such a difference we had a ball. We missed the camp fires this year would be great if this could return. And a small shop on site would be great too. Otherwise we love the place and will defo return
