We found the facilities clean and well kept. The glamping lodge with toilet and sink was fine. There was loads of space for a shower and shower tray/cubicle in the ensuite area of the lodge. There should be a shower even if you have to pay for the hot water. The fridge is fairly small but you have to adapt. We were happy to have stayed in off season when the schools were back. We can only imagine how busy the site would be when the schools were closed during the summer season. The cooking hob was €1 for 20 mins at the communal outdoor kitchen. The hob we used was just woeful. It's €1 for 6 minutes of water in the showers. We ate in the restaurant 2 nights in a row. The food was fine and the staff were helpful and nice.

Big issue was cold showers for 2 year olds after being in the lake. That’s the only negative. Staff v friendly Lots of room in bathroom for storage

I stayed at the glamping lodges this weekend and witnessed a rat the Saturday evening more than once I reported to reception with no investigation further after we decided to stay inside the lodge as our girls felt quiet uncomfortable our neighbour always came to tell us they seen also we reported on the Sunday at check out again no answer either quiet disappointed I’d highly recommend you get a company out as we love to come here as a family as it’s an excellent facility but this definitely let it down .

Everything was fanatastic despite 2 cons I experienced one there is no Wi-fi which is very important for me another deposit of 100 euro taken and holding for up to 28 days which is completely nonsense as I booked for one night for 2 and 1 and still didn’t get my deposit back and my stay despite 160 cost me 260

The restaurant was a disaster. 1 hour wait for food. My chicken came out cold and had no choice but to eat it. I am just out of st Vincents hospital with food poisoning. I am not happy
