Relax and unwind whilst watching the sun set in your very own Geodome. Perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway or even a tranquil family holiday. The Geodome 4 is situated on a decked platform over the lake, the perfect combination of environmental awareness and luxurious simplicity.

Part of the unique charm of a Geodome is they are completely open plan; the bedroom & living space is all rolled into one. This functional, cosy space includes a large snug corner sofa, complete with a smart projector & pull-down screen. It really is the perfect location to snuggle up, relax and enjoy some quiet time.

The bed configuration is: 1 x king size bed, 1 x single bed & 1 x hammock suitable for 1 child up to a height of 120cm (sleeping a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child). Linen and towels are provided. There is also a small sink with running water in each dome.

Each Lakeside Dome has access to their own private bathroom & kitchenette which is situated just a couple of meters behind the Dome itself. This includes shower and toilet facilities along with a full kitchen (fridge, oven & hob, microwave, toaster, kettle etc…) and a small dining area. There is also a decked area around the dome with patio furniture for those hot summer nights in the tranquil countryside.

1st impression, arriving in the dark is the access road to the domes is full of pot holes some quite big and difficult to avoid. The dome was fantastic. Just as we expected. Clean and lovely and warm. The amenities block allocated to our dome was very cold and disappointing. The shower was leaking and there was dirt and mould round the shower tray. We immediately reported this and the lady from reception came straight up and was able to allocate us the adjacent amenities block ,as we where the only people staying, which was much warmer and cleaner. The view over the lake the following morning when we woke up was fantastic. We had a lovely peaceful weekend and would look to return again out of season. The sofa in the dome is starting to look a bit worn but we took our own throw with us which we used to cover the sofa.

It had everything we needed and we couldn't fault it at all.Such an amazing experience we've never stayed in anything like this before. We would definitely recommend the Geodomes to everyone in fact most people who saw our photos also want to now book.Thankyou so much for a lovely relaxing weekend!

I am very dissatisfied we broke down on our way and now need a new car so we couldn’t make it to our stay. I phoned and the woman I spoke to was not interested there was no empathy what so ever. I know it’s not in their policy to refund but a change of date or a discount on booking another stay would’ve been nice as £495 is a lot of money to lose especially for a family with a disabled child. She didn’t offer anything I have had issues at other holiday parks and they have been great in offering other dates so why can’t Ream hills holiday park offer anything I emailed the day after explaining we haven’t got a car now and couldn’t make our break they didn’t reply back for 5 days and then it was we can’t do anything. Overall it’s been very upsetting and traumatic for my children being stranded on a busy motorway and losing our holiday definitely won’t be placing another booking with them no customer service, empathy or understanding what so ever!

Amazing concept, execution needs improvement

I want to start by saying the geo dome itself was beautifully done and the view was amazing. There were a couple of thing that let the trip down for us. It is advertised as having a movie projector screen so we planned our first night as a big movie night however once in the dome it was clear there was no projector or screen. The welcome leaflet told us how to use the screen so we rang reception who told us they had actually removed it from all the domes due to the heat. The heatwave has taken place over a month before our visit and this was the first time we’d been informed. This left us with a small TV placed at an awful viewing angle from the sofa for our trip. Also it’s advertised as the kitchen and bathroom being a few meters away but in fact it was over 40m away from our dome meaning we had to get fully dressed to even make a cup of tea. They should have a kettle in the room. I feel if the above had been advertised as the truth we would not have been left so disappoin

Me, my partner and toddler have just got back from a weekend stay in one of the Geodomes. It's a quiet area, nice and peaceful. The domes overlook the lake and in the mornings the ducks and swans swim over and this made my sons day. He loved seeing the ducks and other birds up close. The dome was heated and felt very cosy. Lots of room inside. We watched movies at night on the pull down projector and it was all very relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom was separated from the dome. This was only 10m or so away from the actual domes. Shower had good pressure and constant hot water. All utensils was left to cook with and clean. The kitchen was always a nice temperature too. Can't fault anything, we all had a really good time. Thanks,Elliot, Laura & Ru

Geodesic DoD

Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and facilities. The only downside to a January stay is a toilet run in gale force wind and torrential rain!! If there was any possibility of adding a loo on the decking somehow I think this would be great for those needing the loo in the middle of the night. A lovely ‘glamping’ experience with a comfy bed.
