Accepted Situated at Barrhill Holiday Park a short distance from the coastal town of Girvan, Barrhill Holiday Park is the perfect place to come for a quiet and relaxing break to get away from it all. Our park is 17 miles from Newton Stewart and has the famous 7 Stanes mountain biking tracks on its door step.
Galloway Forest is a designated “Dark Skies” area and is perfect for star gazing, only 10 miles from us and is registered as a International dark sky park, one of only a few in Europe!
Ideal for a short break for couples or a families, your home for your break will be one of 3 luxury pods (sleeps 3), 5 Deluxe pods (sleeps 5) and 2 Stargazer pods (sleeps 6) – all of which come with its own private electric hot tub at Barrhill Holiday Park.
Beside the pod is a 6 seater hot tub which is always ready to use, no waiting about or planning when to use it like some other wood fired hot tubs! Our hot tub’s are all electric, meaning they are ready to sit in at any point during your stay.
Outside you have space to park your car a picnic table and a fire pit – perfect for roasting your marshmallows.
Communal kitchen facilities are provided in the “The Cook House” which is a short distance from your pod, where there is 2 gas hobs a sink and some cooking utensils. There are also tables and chairs where you can sit and eat.
Your pod comes equipped with a TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, beds, mattresses, toilet and wash hand basin, heating, lighting, sockets.
*Please note* You will still need to bring all your usual camping gear – sleeping bags/duvet, pillows, cups, plates, cutlery, toilet roll, towels, and enough food for your stay.
Our deluxe pods are a metre longer and also have the added benefit of a shower. Overall our two day stay was absolutely brilliant at Barrhill , a few minor things cobwebs on the window and someone else’s hairs in the hot tub were our only slight downfalls but nothing that couldn’t be sorted. We will definitely be back to Barrhill

A wee group of us are just home from staying in the deluxe pods with our kids. Ive got to say it was the most relaxing and lovely holiday we have had!! Its an absolutely stunning place, immaculate everywhere 👌 and the surroundings, my god are breath taking! The kids were only out the park to go to the hot tub then straight back up, they LOVED it!! The man who owns it & his family couldn't have been any more accommodating and nice to us 🥰 We will definitely be back!!! ❤

We have stayed at Barrhill several times now. Philip and Laura are great hosts friendly and very accommodating. The hot tub pod we stayed in was Orion next to play park ideal size for the 3 of us. Plenty space and clean. Great location and we had a very.chilled 2 night stay. A nice easy 20 min drive to Girvan also beautiful beach. We will return again. Great place to chill.

Very easy to locate cabin and get access. I love coming here this was my 2nd time and was great. We had a fire loved how you could buy it on site. We will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this friendly family orientated campsite. As a family of 5 we find booking accommodation tricky. The pod provided enough space for us all. The cookhouse facilities were great. The onsite park seemed to keep the kids entertained and as we stayed in "Orion" we could easily keep an eye on them whilst chilling at the fire pit.Hot tub was a welcome extra :)Fantastic playpark just a mile along the road in Barrhill and close enough to girvan for a good day out! Only downside was the Scottish midges- we will be more prepared next time!

Been to Barrhill a few times now,perfect place to switch off and relax,Pods are comfy and spacious had ensuite this time,Facilities onsite are excellent,shower block and toilets spotless,Lovely big cookhouse kitchen for you to make meals or simply just to wash up dishesHot Tub was fantastic also added bonus of seats and table next to tubEasy check in,Phillip arrived at pod within a few minutes to explain about hot tub and facilities

Location was great out in the wilderness surrounded my trees. We had a deluxe cabin with hot tub and it was great. Total privacy in the hot tub. Our own fire pit and en suite. Amenities in the cabin were a fridge with small freezer and cupboard storage and a kettle and microwave. Was nice and clean too. There is a cookhouse with a hob and supplies to use. We brought our own but great you can use the utensils provided too. Staff were lovely and friendly. Would recommend for a quiet weekend away.

This is honestly our favourite place to get away to relax. This was this first time we brought our son and he had the best time. The park was great for him while we relaxed in hot tub or pod
