Brilliant staff, really friendly and helpful. Perfect little location for a family stay. Clean and perfectly sized for a family. We used the pod as a base to go to Alton towers which was perfect. Will definitely be staying again.

We found this place when looking for a local getaway with our family. It was just what we needed. A quality cabin in lovely surroundings with lots to explore on site.

The pod itself was perfect. Very clean and tidy and beds comfortable. Our specific pod was difficult to find as we arrived after dark and ours was not lit so we literally had to walk up to the door to see what number it was. I was travelling with my 3 teenage... Our specific pod was difficult to find as we arrived after dark and ours was not lit so we literally had to walk up to the door to see what number it was. I was travelling with my 3 teenage daughters so wifi was important! When we got to the pod and followed the instructions for the wifi I had paid for the code did not work. There is literally no signal whatsoever in the pod- not even phone signal so I had to walk to reception (closed) in the dark and call only to be told they were closed then had to call the ‘emergency’ on site number. It wasn’t an emergency but there was literally no alternative. We were given a new code that worked. Took the shine off an otherwise lovely stay.

This was my second time here but my friends/mine first time in a glamping pod. It was a lovely pod and we all could not believe how comfortable the beds were and the bedding. It was clean, spacious and the perfect night away for my friends birthday. The option to sit... This was my second time here but my friends/mine first time in a glamping pod. It was a lovely pod and we all could not believe how comfortable the beds were and the bedding. It was clean, spacious and the perfect night away for my friends birthday. The option to sit around the fire pit was great and it really made our night and it was nice to socialise with others staying also. The staff were all friendly and there was a good choice of food nearby, we went to a pub only a couple minutes down the road and the food was lovely.

Very satisfied with my stay, overall cleanliness was good, maybe more to do for older kids would be an advantage. As a base for Alton towers I would highly recommend it.

It's beautiful place, very clean and friendly. There are excellent trails to walk around and stuff provide recommendation for local places which are great. Inside beds are super comfortable and nicely cleaned, I usually carry own bedsheets but these were so clean I did... It's beautiful place, very clean and friendly. Inside beds are super comfortable and nicely cleaned, I usually carry own bedsheets but these were so clean I did not even unpack mine :) There is small shop inside which provide necessities like milk, bread coffee etc which is very convenient. Only one improvement in my view would be that the way lodges are set up it lacks privacy. Windows open to car park so people poking when walking around and main door opens to communal bbq which is shared with 6 other lodges so children constantly shouting and running around. It can be good thing I guess we are just more used to having a bit privacy and enjoying nature. Saying this It is really nice place and would definitely recommend. This was our second visit and it was just amazing as the first time we went. The new Daisy Pods are lovely. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay.
