An Oasis of Tranquillity in Cornwall, Ruthern Valley Camping Pods (NO electric) sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children, a fantastic wooden tent to keep you warm and dry – you do need to bring all your camping gear except the tent; they are not equipped but the camping pods offer a convenient alternative to the tent and retain all the ambiance of the ‘camping holiday’. They are set in designated areas within the site and they are ready and waiting for you with more privacy than a tent and much more comfort for family glamping on the Cornish coast!

Outside they have wooden decks to sit out on, cook and enjoy the beautiful Cornwall countryside.

If you book to go glamping in Cornwall you will find woodland walks right on your doorstep and Ruthern Valley Camping Pods are in an ideal location, central to all Cornwall has to offer.

Hire a bike right from the shop and cycle to the Camel Valley Vineyard, Grogley Woods or Bodmin Gaol! If cycling isn't your thing you can chill on some of the best beaches along the Cornish coast or take advantage of this location for glamping to visit the Eden Project, the infamous millennium project in Cornwall.

Sea spray on the north coast, balmy breezes in the south, scrumptious Cornish food, wild moor ponies and mysterious quoits. Cornwall has so much in store for you.

"lovely, quiet and beautiful"

P Calixto - Stayed with partner, Aug 2022

Surrounded by nature, this remote campsite is ideal for those trying to get away from the city and breathe fresh air. Nicely located in Cornwall, staff is lovely and other campers are respectful and kind. We'll definitely return.

Was so happy with the cleanliness of the pod and toilets. Location is fab as not too far from access to beaches. Great facilities onsite and lovely hosts and people visiting.

"Camping under the trees"

H Dougharty - Stayed with family, Jul 2022

A well laid out site set under trees near the Camel Trail and Bodmin. Facilities include good shower, dish cleaning, toilet and recycling facilities - with hot water supply. A friendly site - where we tried out a camping pod for the first time (a good experience).

Lovely place and facilities very well maintained, the only thing was the male owner was very grumpy most days and a little sassy.not always that welcoming, but the lady was incredibly helpful and friendly.

J Cawsey - Stayed with family, Aug 2021

Great place to stay. We really enjoyed our bank holiday weekend trip. The kids loved the play area. Accommodation was clean and well maintained. Shower and toilet facilities clean. The food ban on our first night served lovely food, much needed after a long drive.... Great place to stay. We really enjoyed our bank holiday weekend trip. The kids loved the play area. "Lovely and peaceful"

Mr. S Pape - Stayed with partner, Aug 2021

I really enjoyed my stay and would go again. In fact I think this may be my 4th or 5th visit. It is so peaceful and clean and the access to the Camel trail is great.
