Accepted Joe and Victoria Broughton welcome you to their glamping site on their family farm.
Yeabridge Farm Hideaway is down a secluded private track and surrounded by fields of maize and grass where you will be able to relax in the peace and tranquility of the site, hidden amongst the fields in a small secret woodland copse. With beautiful views of the Somerset countryside you will really be able to get back to nature.
The site is perfect for individual families as each yurt has its own private space with the communal area there for you to use when you wish but also great for group bookings and we are happy to hire the whole site to you
Each yurts sleeps 5 with one proper double bed for the adults and three single beds for the children complete with thick, warm, duvets, pillows and linen. We do have travel cots available for younger guests. Outside your yurt there is a lovely decking area with 2 directors chairs to sit and enjoy a glass of wine as well as a picnic table, your own barbeque and your own fire pit to toast those marshmallows over.
You also have your own private lockable shower room complete with towels for the duration of your stay along with charging points for your electrical gadgets. Each yurt also has is own separate composting toilet.
In the kitchen area you get your own work station complete with plates, cups, pots, pans cutlery etc, camping stove, fridge, storage box and picnic table, however there is a conventional communal range cooker and barbeque if the camping stoves do not take your fancy. There is also a large communal firepit.
You are advised to bring a torch as although there is solar lighting there is no electrical lighting on site and so at night it can become very dark. Great for star gazing !
A short walk from the site and you will find the farm lake which you are free to wander around or take a picnic to. If you are really quiet then there is plenty of wildlife down there for you to watch and really get back to nature. It's not unusual to see deer, ducks, swans, foxes or at dusk a barn owl.
We have many animals here on the farm. Pigs, sheep, lambs and chickens! If the time is right you are more than welcome to come and bottle feed the lambs, watch us feed the pigs or hire your own chicken coop with chickens who will deliver your own fresh egg every morning.
We would love for you to visit our site and enjoy a great glamping holiday! Joe and Victoria Broughton welcome you to their glamping site on their family farm.
