My partner had booked this for my 20th birthday. After a 4 hour drive, we checked into our cabin which was smooth. Once unpacked, coats off, I went to make us cups of tea as the cabin was cold, only for the kettle to not work. So we had to get our shoes on, go to reception where they sent someone 15/20 mins later with a new kettl. Had a lovely evening unpacking, and as my partner was cooking me a birthday meal, I had a shower. I got in the shower at 7:30 washed my body, face and then hair. After I rinsed the shampoo and put the conditioner on, about 7:45 the shower went freezing cold! I was shocked! I got out the shower and waited about 20 mins to try again. nothing. So I then waited another 20 mins and around 8:30 I tried again; nothing. The dinner my partner had cooked was now cold and I had conditioner in my hair, had to boil the kettle and fill up the sink to wash my hair. Expressed my concerns to reception but still happened on Sunday night. However, besides this, was lovely!

We had a lovely break in a log cabin - very nice peaceful surroundings in a small but well equipped cabin, very clean, it would benefit from a small sofa instead of the dining table as weather was bad and the only place to sit (read a book) is in the bed. The bed itself is really uncomfortable both my husband and myself could feel the springs and ended up with hip pain. This aside we had a really lovely time and will definitely be going back

Our cabin was beautiful. Cute and cosy. Well equipped. Beautiful scenery in the middle of woodland.The communal pit fire was lovely Immaculately clean!Very helpful staff who took time to recommend local restaurants and walks.A fabulous place We will definitely return

We were so pleased with our cabin in the woods. It was cosy,warm,and well equipped. The outside sitting area was much bigger than we thought and lovely to have a morning cuppa on and watching the rabbits and squirrels. The wooded area was peaceful and relaxing and there were lovely little walks around. It was an easy safe walk into Woodhall Spa which was an interesting little place. We would so like to return.

We were bought a weekend break. Normally we would book a larger accommodation but this was nicely situated, new, clean and had all the basics for a relaxing break.

We were in Cabin 4 and it was stunning, the Park has everything you would need and the staff were lovely, myself and my Husband were blown away with how lovely it was and have not stopped talking about it and telling everyone how beautiful it is

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved our cabin it was perfect, so clean and the facilities were amazing. It was in a nice little spot in the woods and was perfect for a couple of nights away. The site itself was spotless and was in easy walking distance of the town.A great place, we can't wait to return.

Booked an Oawood cabin in December for the 40s weekend , cabin did not have any windows or air-conditioning one of the hottest weekends of the year , was asked 3 days before the event to pay extra for entrance tickets never mentioned in any correspondence from them via email or phone . The event was great with a 40s bus running into Woodhall spa which we took advantage of and spent the Saturday in Woodhall where most pubs and hotels had entertainment on and we could find somewhere to get something to eat , great event but would not stay in a cabin again

Everything was wonderful and the site has really expanded. Lots of options for a stay. Lots of amenities and things to do. Very clean and tidy site.

Having used lodges, hideaways, caravan pitches and Oakwood cabins at The Country Park I would highly recommend any of these. If you stay in a cabin be aware that you cannot drive up to the cabin to unload your car. You have to walk over uneven shale which is ok if you are mobile but not good for the infirm. It would be greatly appreciated if you could unload and then take car back to designated spot. Staff always very helpful. It was good to have the food on site alongside the bar whilst watching the band. The town is lovely with eateries and a lovely delicatessen, it is about 20 mins walk from the site.
