When mechanical issues halted our campervan stay we decided to try out the Hideaways. We weren’t disappointed. A great alternative which was small but perfect. So peaceful watching the nature around us.Staff were so friendly as they usually are. Woodhall is an easy walk away.We love cooking when we are away and the little lodge had very basic facilities but we coped. A chopping board and a couple of serving bowls would be a great addition.

Lovely place it's a shame about the manager, incapable of fixing their errors & upsetting customers. 2 night stay turned into 1 night, came home very unhappy & disappointed.

Me and my hubby and our daughter loved our hoilday with you ,were booking next year in soon because we just can't wait to come back . I love how every staff member you say hi to they beamed at you with geniune smiles .if you run out of towels they are on it in a flash. The shower was lovely and hot . The cute little shower gel and shampoos were a great touch . The folder for info was appreciated and really helped us enjoy our hoilday that bit more . Love the non stick pan . I could go on basely thank you so so much to you all .

The downside was not very disabled friendly no disabled parking no ramps or hand rails and only gravel paths not suitable for wheelchair access and although dog friendly no doggy Pooh bag bins .apart from that very very beautiful and scenic I would definitely come and stay again.

Our family enjoyed stay at park as usual. As used park few times before. We had one in a pod which he said was ok 👍. We had another couple in a hideaway which are always good. 👍😊. We also had 6 other family members in a lodge. Which they enjoyed but….. the saucepans were not in good condition and one of bathrooms was quite mouldy. 🙁. They are just things that need to be checked aren’t they. But we love the park and lovely staff. 👍😊

Tired, dated and smelly, which I told the rude receptionist on leaving. Which didn’t do anything just smiled As stated on website it says full equipped. But washing up liquid was only enough to do 1 lot I explained this but she continued to argue that they are self catered. Which I get that. Washing up liquid isn’t something I would usually bring to a fully equipped cabin.There was mould on the roof of cabin and the smell was absolutely disgusting and got worst over night. Don’t get me wrong the setting is lovely the bar and food were lovely but they could at least cleared all the algae from the lake. The site its self has clearly had money put into it and it lovely! All the sections were busy and lodges looked great. I do think these hideaway need a refurb. And was nice for 1 night.

The site is well laid out with large pitches and very well kept. The toilets were very clean and modern. We really enjoyed everything about the park and it’s not very far to Woodhall Spa - no more than 5 mins in the car and close to Jubilee Park too. Definitely recommend this site.

Lovely site, very clean and tidy. We stayed in a hideaway cabin which was perfect size and super cosy, it was nice that they are in their own section of the park. We enjoyed breakfast on the decking in front of the pond and watching the birds and ducks. It’s also a nice walk into the village and the bakery is amazing.

We go to Woodhall Country Park as the cycling is so good. The local restaurants are good too. We found the Hideaway really excellent the only thing they could do with is a hook to hang your hand towel on in the bathroom, and a shelf above the hand basin for toothbrushes and shaving gear.
