Only thing the place needs is a bar restaurant it would be buzzing in there

I stayed in a glamping pod . Struggled to lock and unlocked the door. Gaping gap under the door letting the cold in. Cleaning staff tried to enter my pod a day early because they said id checked out. !!Communal showers and toilets dated and desperately overdue an upgrade.Gardens and woodland lovely and well kept. Security barrier makes the complex feel safer.

Stayed for two days on a Wowcher deal don’t go on a Tuesday everything is shut also found it hard to charge my car !!! It says on the website that there are car chargers which is correct HOWEVER NO WHERE DOES IT STATE YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN CHARGING CABLE !! Raised it with management the manager does not care however all the staff were lovely and even understood the complaints I was raising I advised that in the future to let customers know or they will be in the same situation! The manager said he would look into it it is six months later as I write this and nothing has been done or changed !!!!! The actually two day holiday was lovely in its settings and surroundings and we made the most of the two days we had there would I go back yes possibly if they can sort out their electric car charging units if not nooo problem I can always choose to go somewhere else !!

Staff friendliness on arrival was really pleasant and the camping pod was really nice for me. Location was good for town and Petwood hotel.

Great site, clean and tidy and great location. Will definitely go again. Would have been 5 stars had the site van not been parked near us. Each night we were there the alarm went off at 2am.

Great place for a night away with lovely surroundings and view. We stayed in 1 of the 2 person pods. It was basic but for 1 nights stay it had all we needed. It was very well insulated and futon was comfortable for a night or 2. The site and pod was clean and well maintained. The toilets could do with been checked/cleaned more regularly especially in busier months. We had visited previously and was very clean so this was a letdown. The sites food/bar facilities is lovely and the walk into town is nice with a new well lit path from the road. The town is very quant with beautiful walks and great restaurants(would recommend Zucci's for gluten free pizza). Would definitely visit again.

Reception staff were friendly and approachable, we were able to check in 15 minutes early, accommodation clean and presentable. Nice quiet calm site , lovely lake view.

Cleanliness of toilet blocks needs attention one toilet was crawling with flying ants and all over the toilet brush, also the lack of toilet roll. Also the onsite bar hours could be looked at, noticed people going to the bar and it was shut. We will definitely be back again ,😊

This is the second year we have camped out in the pods with a group of friends and everyone loves it. The shower facilities, fishing lake and shop are great. We watched a live band on the Saturday night which everyone loved.
