The campsite is set in a beautiful rural location next to moorland. The site itself is kept very clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Thank you very much for your review, love the photos :)

We would not recommend , found the gentleman behind the bar extremely rude , inbetween him drinking regularly and barking orders at staff and holidaymakersNo lights on site , so health hazard at night , appreciate lights cannot be on all the time , but invest in sensors surely Children’s area was good but uncleanAverage meals Overpriced for what it is , will go elsewhere in future
I'd obviously like to dispute most of the contents of this review.I've never known the bar manager bark orders at anyone, certainly not his own colleagues. I've seen him reprimand children for bullying or unruly behaviour, to try to keep the play area safe for all users .........The lighting is subtle, agreed. This is because we are privileged to live in the green belt. We have won awards for conservation as to how we think about our environment and our neighbours. We publish the fact it's subtle and advise that it's advisable to bring a torch. It's deliberately not lit up like a city centre....As to overpriced less that £10 a head a night at weekend ....... really?Readers will find and be able to read a 1000 other reviews that compliment us on the standard of food and cleanliness. I would advise they look at others for a more balanced view of what to expect on visiting us.

Second visit to Upwood. Stayed in a yurt before and a pod on return. Really clean throughout, lovely staff, fabulous facilities and good location. Took my dog with me to the pod. Fantastic moorland surrounding the park and a lovely walk into Haworth. Definitely worth a visit.

The site had everything you needed, shop , dog friendly bar and lovely walks. Toilet block was spotless. We had a lovely walk down to Haworth with lovely views but there is also a bus stop outside the camp site.
Thank you very much for your review and love your pictures :)

Stayed here loads of times and always enjoyed it. Only issue with this stay is that we were placed right next to the kids football and play area and their ball kept on coming over and hitting our car. What was even more annoying that the other 5 pods, which were situated further away, were all vacant so we could’ve been placed in one of them rather than next to the play area. Other than that great as always 🙂🙂

I can not recommend Upwood enough, I was recommended to me and i am so pleased that it was. Everything about it is perfect, the staff are above and beyond, the restaurant is lovely, the pod was great, the setting was beautiful - it was all just perfect.

My sister and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at Upwood. We are both pensioners. We have stayed there before, 9-10 years ago. This time though we found the site a little difficult to find, as the entrance sign was too small to see. It was a useful base for a football match at Bradford Park, Avenue, which was only a few miles away, and excellent for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. It was a gala weekend there. We had a camping pod, As we are both getting a bit 'longer in the tooth' we found the toilet facilities a little inconveniently far away from the pods. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good use of a weekend.

We absolutely love Upwood and have been many time in different groups - sometimes with kids and sometimes without. The location is great for Haworth and Hebden Bridge. Upwood itself is excellent in terms of the facilities, the cleanliness and the onsite clubhouse. The food is great value, the drinks are good and bar clean and cosy with the real fire. Brian and his team really look after us and are so friendly. We also love the Friday night quiz. The breakfasts are ace - only improvement would be to open the clubhouse earlier and to do breakfast on the Saturdays too.
Thank you and always lovely to see you. The clubhouse is always open, you just need to ask at reception to be served. Breakfasts on a sat is always under discussion...... ;)

We have been to Upwood before but we have always camped in a tent to camping in a pod for the first time was a new experience! It was great! We could have been a little closer to the facilities with the weather conditions but this couldn’t be helped! We will be back 😊
Thank you very much for your review and pictures :)
