We recently visited Upwood for a second time and had a thoroughly pleasant stay. The site is brilliant with clean facilities and plenty to do for families/kids. The walks surrounding the park are fantastic, particularly walking into Oxenhope and along the beck to Howarth. Will definitely be revisiting many more times!

Great site for what we needed, the pods were better than shown in the pictures on the web page. It's a shame the bar/restaurant doesn't open on a Thursday night but understandable.

We have been here lots of times, this was the 2nd time at this time of year upgrading from a pod to a mega pod which was much better! Friends joined us this year and the pod was bigger enough for us all to sit in. Clubhouse and food was good and we would highly recommend! If only we could afford a caravan!
Thank you very much for your review, Hope to see you again next year :)

Little bit outdated inside could do with a refreshNew fridge and seating etc
Steven thanks for the feedback. It's the end of the season. All units get a thorough revamp when we are closed in Jan/Feb. I note from our records that your fridge is due for replacement this year. All Mega Pod seating is due to be reupholstered as a matter of course.Regards Frank

Stayed for 3 nights in a mega pod, warm welcome, pod small for 4 but warm and cosy.Site shower block roomy, clean and warm.Clubhouse was fantastic, all friendly staff and very informative, quiz first night, Whitney tribute sat night which was fabulous, great atmosphere, dined in clubhouse sun pm, food was delicious, very generous portions.Heavy snow on the Saturday so we didn’t leave the site but plenty to keep us entertained.Had a great time, so much so we’ve booked for next august bank holiday, would highly recommend, great outfit at upwood! . thank you

The caravan park is very nice , clean heated toilet/shower block. The shop on site has a few items but we took all we needed with us which I think is more convenient. The staff are lovely friendly and helpful. The pub on site is great , lovely food , very nice breakfast, and great entertainment (Whitney Houston tribute ). We stayed in a mega pod , my first impression was how cute ! But I’d taken too many clothes shoes and coats so had to leave things in the car because the pods are very small , and no where to put things.. there is a kitchen cupboard for a few tins or plates but no other storage. The pod was plenty warm enough even in the snow ! I’d say to sleep four would be uncomfortable as the settee bed is narrow and not cushioned very well , maybe ok for a small child but I wouldn’t have wanted to sleep on it . Over all we had a lovely weekend with friends , and walked into howarth (about 40mins) which is defo worth a visit

My family have caravans up there so I booked a mega pod for 3 nights it was toasty warm inside and the bed was very comfy all you need to improve it is a couple more hooks inside and the padding in the sofa could do with renewing apart from that it was a brilliant stay will definitely book another one Sorry I didn't take photos Jean ryder
Thank you very much for your comments & review, We will look at where more hooks can go and the seating on the sofa beds will be renewed while we are closed over winter.:)
