Accepted The Nest is a unique, luxury, hand built cedar cabin where everything provided is of the upmost quality and welfare, finished in shades of navy blue & mustard yellow with furniture hand crafted from local cedar.
There is all the kitchen equipment you will need - a kettle, toaster, induction hob, microwave, mini-oven, fridge (with small freezer) and a dishwasher. Plus pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, washing up liquid, dishcloths, tea towels, cooking condiments, fresh ground coffee plus various teas, pasta, rice and porridge oats .
Relax and put the kettle on - I also include some of my homemade brownies.
All your bed linen and extra fluffy Egyptian towels & bath robes are included too.
Keep snug inside with the log burner (and a generous basket of logs) or step outside and luxuriate in our Japanese soak tub (think hot tub without jets and lights) - filled with fresh water for each use, meaning no nasty chemicals! Step off the veranda into the meadow to your fire-pit. We include barbecuing equipment for you to enjoy some "smoke & sizzle" too! If open fire cooking sounds a bit daunting, there's an induction hob in the cabin plus a small oven & microwave. If you fancy just "staring at the stars" then enjoy sitting on the swinging cedar love seat. You will find your stay the perfect way to disconnect - but don't worry, I wasn't going to forget free, fast and reliable WiFi -so after a day of exploring the countryside, you can wind down and stream a film or post that Instagram holiday snap!
You'll find staying at The Nest to be an immersive experience, nestling into the landscape and local wildlife. Features such as the cabins' living roofs, the wildlife pond and patches of beautiful wildflower are dedicated to sustaining our local bees, bats and all wildlife alike.
We pride ourselves on our green credentials and are happy to say we have an electric car charging point onsite for your use too.
There are so many great cycle routes and paths in the Forest - why not bring your bike? We have a lockable bike shed and a bike wash area.
Woof! We welcome up to 2 small or 1 medium sized dog. There is a charge of £30 for one dog (£40 for two dogs) per stay.
