The Mongolian yurts, which have oak doors, are surrounded by a wooden lattice with a window looking up to the stars. Each is fitted with all your creature comforts, guaranteed to make your stay a home-away-from-home. Each yurt has a double bed with a proper mattress and duvet as well as bunk beds, a wood burning stove so you can snuggle up and hunker down, electricity and each has its own undercover cooking and eating area with gas hobs, fridge and its own charcoal BBQ.

The site is on the grounds of The Grove hotel which is a third generation family run business since 1936. The Grove has two restaurants; Sundown being in a Tipi and serving pizza and tapas. It also has a play area, Massage Hut, Indoor swimming pool and incredible vegetable garden - to be used in the restaurants.

The site itself is in a quiet corner of The Grove garden with easy access to the swimming pool and is a great safe place for kids to play and make friends. The five yurts are huddled around a fire pit, which has a convivial atmospheric feel in the evenings. All yurts are fully kitted out with everything for your stay, you will need to bring towels, slippers and your swimming kit, to enjoy the free onsite pool. You may also want to bring some charcoal for the BBQ. The washing up facilities provided include hot running water, but neither washing up liquid, dish-cloths nor tea towels are provided, so please remember to pack these It’s also worth bringing a torch as there is little light pollution on site. Tucked behind the pool, the yurts have their own washing up area, fridges, stoves, fire pits, BBQ's, as well as benefiting from the short walk through our private woodland path to the award winning Cromer beach.

Many of our guests enjoyed booking the whole glamping site for a few days with friends or family. The site can hold up to 26 people in its five yurts and five more in the Shepherd's Lodge. To make your stay that bit easier and we can provide a variety of hampers, which can be pre-booked including cheese and wine, barbeque or breakfast. Of course, all the facilities of The Grove are also available to our intrepid Glampers, so you can book one of our superb breakfasts, come in for dinner, swim in the pool then head back to your yurt for a cosy night’s sleep in ready-made-up beds; getting back to nature in style.

We are a family friendly site and so we do not accept stag or hen nights and try to keep the site quiet after 10pm. It is also a pet free site.
