Lovely rural spot, with friendly hosts. Very clean and tidy. We stayed in March yet found the pod and the shower facilities warm and cosy.

Very remote peaceful break away from civilisation and the busy noisy life perfect way to de-stress, i wouldn't recommend bringing children as there isn't a lot to do except walks and most children don't like walking haha, there's a park but it's very small with limited things to do in it, on site shop is very cheap surprisingly and the gentleman in there presumably one of the owners was very friendly and well spoken, will most likely return with partner, the glamping pod stayed nice and warm overnight just need to bump it up a bit as the temperature drops a lot, it's also a good size and had everything you need except an oven and toilet but that was only a short walk away I wouldn't stay in the smaller ones. thanks for having us. Stayed in a glamping pod, it was warm, clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend it for a weekend with friends.

We were given a voucher as a present for a night in a Glamping Pod, had never done it before although we had enjoyed camping over the years with our children, The pod was extremely clean and tidy and the shower block was cleaned regularly, it was a cold night but the heating in the pod was great ( in fact I had to turn it down !) The site was very peaceful and quiet.We had a lovely meal in the Lanivet Inn and would highly recommend it there, The only thing that would have made the stay perfect was if the pod had a toilet but apart from that it was a very enjoyable weekend.

We spent one night at Ruthern Valley holidays as a Red Letter Day, in a ‘pod’ or wigwam. It was cosy and very comfortable with an electric heater. We were also greeted very warmly on arrival in the reception/shop - selling very good quality wine- and there is a helpful map of the site, which is set in lovely woodlands. We throughly recommend Ruthern Valley holidays.

Great campsite, the owners were so accommodating and kept in constant communication with us.They explained we'd need to bring our own camping equipment and bedding.The wigwam was cosy and warm, we didn't expect heating. And we had a microwave, kettle and fridge.A little tip, we took a fitted sheet expecting a mattress but it's a very wide bed and it wouldn't have fit, so take a blanket or an "unfitted" sheet to lay on.It was so quiet and peaceful, we slept like logsI've never seen a cleaner shower block at a campsite, they've thought of everything (take a torch at night)But yeah, when we need a weekend to shut off and recharge we'll definitely be backThank you

We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff were so friendly and even let our boys help to collect the eggs from the chickens in the morningOur little hut was cute and was conveniently located next to the shower/toilet block There’s a little park which the boy’s enjoyed We’d definitely come back again

My wife and I stayed for One Night, it was a Red Letter Day gift and we wanted to try a glamping pod. We were not disappointed. What a find Ruthern Valley is. Just peaceful from the word go. Beautiful, tranquil setting. Facilities were clean. Friendly and welcoming owners. We will definitely be back, probably even try a lodge. We would highly recommend Ruthern Valley.
