lovely site, peaceful, friendly staff, clean in the pod and the toilet and shower facilities, expected standard of accommodation, close to walk and cycle routes, pubs and Bodmin

Site is located in the forest, my favourite... It's not far from main roads however, with straight forward 30min drive to the seaside. Bigger cabins are more exposed but all glamping pods are hidden in the forest, which gives the impression of intimacy. There's shower block with very clean facilities, hut itself was clean and comfortable as well.We stayed only one night so didn't get to explore everything that holiday site offers, but we really liked it and would love to return in future.

It was a lovely location and looked really beautiful. The area is so peaceful however I was disappointed there was no toilet paper in the toilets throughout my whole stay. A really nice weekend away the Shepards huts were cosy and I would stay again

The campsite is so gorgeous, beautiful bright flowers everywhere and little Robbins coming to visit us every morning. The showers/toilets were really clean, hot water...perfect after a long day hiking. The campsite itself was so quiet only the sound of tweeting birds, honestly was the most perfect week away. We hired bikes from the campsite and did the Camel Trail would definitely recommend. The owners were so helpful and always around if you needed something. The whole surrounding area was so lovely. This was our first time staying in a pod we definitely won't be forgetting it.

Toilet and shower room is clean but not sufficient when the camp site is full

We had a voucher to stay with Ruthern Valley In one of there glamping pods when we arrived it was very quiet and very lovely until we got in side the glamping pod smelled of damp and mould , there was no bin in side to put rubbish and there was no complimentary tea and coffee there was no tv to keep us entertained at night and the bed was atrocious it was more like just a group of gym mats put together on wooden benches . We had to buy a tv to use in there at a cost to us , and when night time came there was no out side lighting to guild the way to the loos and shower block , and then when we finally went to sleep we got rudely awakened by people coming in at 1 am in the morning running up and down the gravel path . My partner has a disabliity and doesn’t find it easy to walk even with our phone lights it was way to dark to make it to the loo blocks . With the nearest entertainment miles away you would think that they would provide the basics but nope Good luck !

The reception is in the small, well stocked shop in which we were given a warm friendly and informative welcome. ( as it was a cool day they had even put the heating on in the pod ). The site is located in peaceful surroundings and has laundry, showers, toilet etc. The pod ( which is termed as a Wigwam ) has has a lockable door, blinds on the windows, microwave, fridge, kettle and heater, During our stay it rained and we were really warm and snug in the pod and slept well. We left wishing we had booked a longer stay.

Lovely location, even though it was pouring down when we arrived the site is still beautiful. The shop on site is very handy. Friendly staff. The pod was very clean upon arrival, equipped with a heater, kettle and microwave. Would recommend to anyone!

It is a place that is in the sticks out the way but is nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the bed was absolutely horrible and we came home early. I wouldn’t say it was worth £60 at all. The toilet facilities were clean.
