Situated on the Suffolk-Essex border close to Cambridge, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, and set within a County Wildlife area, this cosy fully insulated wooden tipi, is tucked away in a quiet corner of the Rum Bridge meadow.

Equipped with twin beds, solar lighting/device charging, a hot air heater and exclusive outdoor seating and firepit area, it is the right choice for walkers, birders, photographers… in fact anyone seeking to recharge the batteries in a tranquil off grid rural retreat.

Showers, toilets and a communal ‘field kitchen’ are close by, and hot and cold snacks, breakfast, lunches and are dinner available from the onsite Carol's Kitchen food concession.

All guests have access to the nearby showers and toilets, and a small ‘field kitchen’ (food prep area) with worktop, butler sink and hot and cold running water.

Nestling in the heart of the tranquil Suffolk countryside, Rum Bridge is situated within easy driving distance of Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, and the Suffolk coast. The market town of Clare is home to a wealth of shops, cafes, pubs and eateries, as well as a 13th century Augustinian Priory, Clare Country Park, the stone keep ruins of Clare Castle, a mediaeval church and museum.

Although, for security reasons, the gates are locked at dusk, guests can be provided with the gate lock combination, enabling you to come and go as you please.

To cater for all budgets, we allow guests to book our accommodation only, and choose to bring their own bedding, or have everything ready for your arrival by choosing to have your bedding supplied on request; together with the following optional extras, all of which are offered to make your break as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

**Firepit package** - guests who prefer to dine al fresco may wish to rent a fire pit with grill which is supplied with a bucket of logs, kindling and charcoal, and complimentary marshmallows!

**Cook tent** Our purpose-designed cook tents can be pitched next to your accommodation, and include a twin-burner gas stove with grill, a kettle, and selection of cookware, crockery, and cutlery.
