The hot tub was great and so was the bbq area.Cabin was toastie and warm. Took warm clothing expecting to be cold, but was boiling hot. Could have done with a mop to wipe the floor as lots of water gets trailed in from the hot tub when using the toilet.Negatives - mattress was very hard, cleanliness could be improved upon and kitchen lacked a few utensils. Tip: take kitchen roll as this was not provided.

Lovely quiet area to go and relax. Accommodation is great. Made it extra special has it was my birthday so banners were put up for me. Clean cosy warm cabin and the hot tub was amazing very private. Highly recommend. Staff on site were polite and very welcoming. I only left the site once to go to the local shop for snacks. Extra bonus was the coffee, milk ect already in the cabin. Had a perfect night away.

We loved staying to Riddings Wood on our first visit to the Peak District. It was nice and close to everything we had planned, a good location for Peak District exploring. Although the cabins may appear small there was ample room for our belongings and our two young children 4 & 1 years to play and relax. Everything was clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the privacy of the hot tub, it was in no way exposed to other campsite users, and again was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was perfectly fine to sleep on. The surroundings were lovely with trees all around and plenty of room to explore. There are also great fire-pits which we didn’t use this time but many people seemed to be enjoying! We would definitely come back to Riddings Wood for other trips to the Peak District. Nothing to complain about, we won’t feel the need to look for any other place to stay next time. Thanks!
