The lodge was lovely stay for our Anniversary weekend. Staff were very friendly and helped address an issue we had with the cabin. The only issue we had was there was a wasp nest in the roof of the cabin. When we arrived there was around 6 dead wasps in the cabin, including one in the bed, additionally there was 1 alive one which we managed to shoo out of the lodge. The same night around 00:30 in the morning a wasp came down from the light fitting and was buzzing around, this was not ideal to say the least. In the morning we had more wasps which were coming down from the light fitting again where we had to mention something to the staff. While outside trying to avoid the wasps my wife found where they were entering and exciting the cabin, there was around 10-20 wasps at a time getting in and out of this hole. The staff member applied ant powder to this hole which seemed to address the issue apart from the odd wasp here and there entering the lodge through the light fitting.

The glamping pod was clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great. The location was quiet at night. We stayed a Mon n tue so some things were closed around us (pub etc) and there were a few places on my map that were now closed. I would recommend this park/getaway

Arriving to a surprise with a birthday banner on the door everything was perfect. We loved every minute staying in the lodge and can’t wait to come back! Only thing I do think could enhance the experience, having a fly screen on the door so when it’s the hottest day of the year, you can leave the door open and not worry about flying insects!

The hot tub was great and so was the bbq area.Cabin was toastie and warm. Took warm clothing expecting to be cold, but was boiling hot. Could have done with a mop to wipe the floor as lots of water gets trailed in from the hot tub when using the toilet.Negatives - mattress was very hard, cleanliness could be improved upon and kitchen lacked a few utensils. Tip: take kitchen roll as this was not provided.
