The Lodge had all the facilities we required. The Hot Tub was a nice addition to our Lodge. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We loved staying to Riddings Wood on our first visit to the Peak District. It was nice and close to everything we had planned, a good location for Peak District exploring. Although the cabins may appear small there was ample room for our belongings and our two young children 4 & 1 years to play and relax. Everything was clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the privacy of the hot tub, it was in no way exposed to other campsite users, and again was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed was perfectly fine to sleep on. The surroundings were lovely with trees all around and plenty of room to explore. There are also great fire-pits which we didn’t use this time but many people seemed to be enjoying! We would definitely come back to Riddings Wood for other trips to the Peak District. Nothing to complain about, we won’t feel the need to look for any other place to stay next time. Thanks!

Lodge was clean and plenty of space. Hot tub was great. Plenty of places to go around the area. If you go take some glasses if you are going to drink wine or beer. We had a great few days away.

me and my partner came to yourselves Tuesday for 2 nights, when we first walked in the cups and glasses were stacked neatly on the side but had human hair on them. I thought that must be a mistake and began to wash them. After this we then seen multiple hairs in the draws and inside of the bowls, this did discuss me. I understand that this is a dog friendly lodge i expected to maybe see a few dog hairs possibly on the floor but not to this extent.. they were obviously Human hairs. We also couldn't use the kettle, inside was full of limescale which isn't hygienic at all and had to bring our own kettle for a warm drink. I also had to clean all knife and forks before use and leave them out of the cutlery holder as this was also dirty. It was very dusty around, this isn't major but for £140 a night I and i'm sure anyone staying wouldn't expect to see it all. To say we paid £280 for 2 nights i am absolutely disgusted with the Hygiene, i am not even sure if things where cleaned bef

I truly have no criticisms.Me and my husband both have busy lives, and we decided to visit riddings wood to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and it was every we wanted.Steve was very polite and the cleanliness was perfect! We loved sitting in the hot tub, dark outside but having the hot tub lights on, listening to the rain on the roof!! Not seen my husband so relaxed in a very long time.We certainly will be coming back!
