Accepted Allow your imagination to soar as you picture being up in the air on far-flung missions in our specially converted Lynx Helicopter!
This incredibly unique and unforgettable experience began with a 1982 Westland Lynx XZ676 -which has been specially converted into a cosy yet comfortable and modern overnight accommodation. The Lynx belonged to the British Army and has flown in places such as Kosovo and the Gulf War, although now resides in a serene and beautiful spot at Ream Hills, in the heart of the Lancashire countryside.
Imagine the look on the little ones (or big ones!) faces when they discover where they are holidaying – they will even receive a special named certificate to cherish the experience and show their friends.
The Helicopter comfortably sleeps up to two adults and two children in a specially designed double ‘bunk’ at the rear tail, with a pull out sofa bed for the children in the main compartment. There is a small sink area with a kettle, microwave and mini fridge.
Attached to the Helicopter there is a private decking with seating to enjoy al fresco drinks and dining. Use of the nearby on-site toilet and shower block is included.
Please remember to pack any bedding including pillows, a duvet or sleeping bag, sheets and towels you may need during your stay. These are not provided in this Glamping accommodation.

We stayed here as a family in August 24 with our son and as he is aircraft crazy, we booked this for a surprise for him. He was not disappointed in the slightest and we had a great 2 night stay before moving onwards with the rest of our holiday adventure. The site itself is pretty quiet for guests allowing a good sleep and has a variety of stays from small & large lodges, geodesic domes, personal caravans and tents and of course the helicopter. It is very clean across the park and lovely grounds to have a stroll around too. Toilets and showers are pretty good and well maintained, showers were great and powerful too.Good situation within easy reach of Blackpool, Guys Thatched Hamlet, Barton Grange & The Flower Bowl Entertainment Complex and Preston as well as many other North West hotspots. The site staff were very pleasant on arrival and departure and our son also got a certificate for his stay in the helicopter too, which he was most pleased with. The lynx itself although

My husband and I booked the Lynx Helicopter experience for our 7 year old grandson's birthday treat. His face was an absolute picture when he realised we were sleeping in a real helicopter. The water park was also a fabulous hit, so well organised and the staff on duty were very professional, friendly and helpful.I personally had such a laugh watching my husband and our grandson thoroughly enjoy every minute.

We booked the helicopter for a present for our 7 year old grandson. The accommodation is very cramped nowhere really to sit. Its advertised as big enough for 2 adults and 2 children but there were only 3 of us and it was hard. There is a decking area which will be good in the summer but no use on a wet October night. There is no toilet and although you know this when you book it says use of site toilets and showers. What it doesn't say is these are quite a distance from the helicopter and if you have to use the bathroom during the night it's dark so you need a torch. Also because it's so cramped you wake up the other people in your party to get out. Not particularly clean and a bit musty smelling. That said our grandson loved it.

It was a lovely stay bed was comfy it was clean but it could have been cleaned better as there was cobwebs and also I don't think it was safe where the plug was in the bedroom area to charge phones e.t.c I think it should be higher up with a little shelve under it and a idea for outside is a canopy over the seating area so you can sit out in all weather's. Also it would of been nice to have a little mirror for the morning to do your hair e.t.c instead of going to the toilet area. And one last thing there was a horrible smell in the cupboard area but overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

We have just left after spending the weekend at reams holiday park , first thing is We are absolutely gutted to be leaving!! What an absolutely beautiful idyllic place ! Initially booked the helicopter but a technical glitch meant we had to change accommodation……. We was blown away!! Our lodge was out of this world ! The staff go above and beyond and made us feel like family. The lodge and facilities were immaculate! We can’t wait to return . Our little boy (3 years ) loved it and didn’t want to leave. What a find this was 🤩👌🏻👍🏻

The little one loved it and was a great unusual experience however the WiFi didn't stretch to this end of the camp so didn't have nay connectivity. Not really a problem for one night but it was advertised as having internet access.

Location is easy to get tooThe toilets / shower was very very clean. Maybe because it was January and only seen one other familyNo facilities open on camp or around, that was disappointing
