Orchid Meadows is a captivating destination between the mountains and the sea in West Wales. Tawny Cottage gives you your own space on our private nature reserve and is a perfect hideaway for couples. You can watch red kites and buzzards while unwinding and enjoying the outdoors, or use orchid Meadows as a springboard to explore the stunning West Wales coast.

As the door to Tawny Cottage opens, you enter an attractive, newly refurbished kitchen/diner/lounge with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Upstairs is a delightful double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Outside there are two private seating areas, plus a firebowl to barbecue or toast marshmallows over.

You have access to 25 acres of private nature reserve - yours to explore and discover its wildlife. There is a nature trail to follow and an orchard guide introduces our heritage varieties of apple, pear, quince and medlar. Look also for the Green Man willow village, pond-side hammocks and pocket Greek garden.

Your stay includes complimentary breakfast plus a welcome box of home-baked cakes and we can supply free-range eggs and fresh organic produce from the polytunnel. We also have Red Kite Yurt and Goldfinch Glampavan available if you want to come as a group!

We are on-site and can help with queries and problems or simply offer a chat and cup of tea. You have a fantastic opportunity to find out about running your own small-holding and living the good life away from the crowd!
