Accepted For those who love to explore outside, campers will find our pods cosy but also practical, especially on wet weather days with a warm welcome inside. Decorated in a modern country style you will feel right at home with all the comforts and amenities available in the pod.

The pods has been hand-built by a local company and are more like a luxury self-contained apartment sure to impress our visiting guests.

Guests can expect lovely fresh linen sheets on all the beds and a clean bath and hand towel for each guest.

A modern bathroom is within the pod with basin, toilet, walk in shower and a heated towel radiator.

Included in the kitchen is a gas hob, fridge with small built in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. All the kitchen utensils you need to prepare a simple meal are provided including pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups etc

For guests there is a fitted double bed and bunk beds, hanging rail for clothes, spacious shower room with toilet and sink. There is also a king size sofa bed in the lounge area which pulls out to a comfortable bed to accommodate extra guests!

The pod is fully insulated and has a full heating system which is simple to use to keep you extra cosy in the cooler evenings or winter months. There is a flat screen television and wi-fi will be available at no extra charge.

There is also the option to purchase a range of homemade hampers for during your stay. We can provide breakfast hampers, BBQ hampers, cheese hampers and couples special pack hampers all containing local produce some of our very own!

Outside campers will be treated to beautifully landscaped areas surrounding their pod, along with views of the woodland and beacon fell in the day time. In the evening guests can sit around their own fire pit toasting marshmallows and catching a glimpse of the night-time wildlife!

The experience at the Richardson’s will be topped off by our friendly hosting. As 7th generation farmers and with Great Grandad still farming in his 90's, we understand the importance of enjoying a bit of family time together. Living just near the entrance to the site, they are on hand to help make your visit as peaceful or as busy as you like.
