The Pod was v nice but the designers forgot to include any hooks! Not even one on the bathroom door. What happens when you come in soaking wet with all the gear? You need hooks and small shelves. even outside the front door would be practical.

Absolutely loved the glamping pods so handy and spacious, 2 adults and 1 teen comfortably. Shower lovely and warm! Facilities on site great!staff lovely! Only down side would be storage hooks for coats would of been great in the pod or outdoor cupboard bit! So not even really a negative!

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the new pods. They have been really well planned out and are in very good condition. The females in our party would have liked a mirror in the main living area for doing their hair. The outside store is a very handy space but would benefit hugely from some simple rails or lines from which to hang wet clothing etc.Only real negative was our party of two adults and two children were only provided with two towels. The on site staff were very apologetic but could only find one additional towel so we had to share.

We had a great time at Oakwood. The facilities were great, clean and comfortable. The burger van was also a hit.In the future, it would be great if there were hooks to hang clothes on in the pods, as when we arrived on out bikes our gear was wet.No other issues.Had a great time.

Almost perfect but for parking issues for the pods, the heat in the top bunk area was bad and the upper window would benefit from a blackout blind. Also the pods and storage sheds could do with a few hooks to hang things up. We understand the parking problems are being sorted. Put a fan in the pod, a blind on the window and a few hooks on the walls then it really would be hard to fault. We had a great time regardless of these teething issues with the new pods. I already recommended to a couple of people.

We loved the pod and the campsite in general. The only downside is the traffic noise from the A9 which luckily from our pod wasn't too bad, however at our friend's camper van on the top part of the site, it was very noticeable. The pod was very fresh, clean and well appointed. There were a few things we thought were either still to be done/added, or we felt the pod could be doing with. There was no blind on the top bunk window, so our son had to stuff his pillow in there to stop the light coming in. The same was the case with the window above the kitchen, however this was maybe not so important. The pod could do with some hooks for jackets, maybe behind the door, and also in the outdoor storage area for hanging wet jackets. We had to hang them over the top of our bikes. The campsite itself was lovely, the staff were very helpful and the facilities were clean and well appointed.

Spacious campsite, Pod was beautiful.Very close to Aviemore.Grounds well kept. For future I would like to see outside seating for the pods, also a few hooks inside for hanging clothes, also a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Will definitely be back.

Great base for visiting the local area in Aviemore and beyond. The glamping pod was brilliant, very clean and welcoming. Could maybe do with a couple of extra chairs for the veranda. The staff were very nice and the play park was great for the kids. The burger box van was only open 1 night of our stay but the food was great and you get a buzzer so you can wander whilst your food is prepared.

Perfect base. Glamping Pod was perfect and everything provided. Site was immaculate and only a 25 min walk/£8 taxi to high street.

Having Used Oakwood previously we were all super excited to try out the newly built Glamping Pods.First impressions were that it wasn't fully complete and it had been rushed to allow guests to stay as there was sawdust in the bathroom and windows / surfaces wiped down with a wet cloth, loose plumbing fittings along with a stale sewage smell.Having contacted a member of staff to state there was no blinds on the top bunk , she quickly stated that we could leave a comment on the feedback form..!The drainage in the unit gurgled & bubbled to the point the toilet nearly overflowed with the shower tray turning brown when coffee was poured down the kitchen sink. When asked if we could use the shared facilities I was told that the site number did not cater for the Pods and denied access. Not the glamping experience we had looked forward to given the 5* price tag :-(
