Accepted Lordstones is a privately owned Country Park offering glamping in the North York Moors National Park.
Our Glamping Pods are hand built and bespoke to us, they offer more space than the standard 'Mega Pods' available at other glamping sites, they have also just recently been given a fresh new look, making them among the most desirable pods for glamping in Yorkshire!
The pods are located in their own secluded Pod Village, surrounded by ponds and have beautiful Moorland views.
Each glamping pod contains a small washroom with toilet and wash basin, a double bed & double sofa-bed and can comfortably sleep up to 4 people and are ideal for 2 Adults & 2 Children. There is also a small kitchenette area with travel kettle, under counter fridge and basin and dining table & chairs. Guests have access to a wood burning stove to keep them warm on their Yorkshire glamping trip and each pod has a personal outdoor decking area with seating and a cast iron BBQ.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights and we are a pet friendly glamping site, accepting pets in two of our pods (subject to availability).
Just a stone's throw from your accommodation you will find; The Lordstones Shop, selling local produce including our own hand-reared beef and all the camping essentials from logs to lemonade! You will also find The Lordstones cafe which is the perfect destination for a quick coffee stop, or an enjoyable lunch and The Belted Bull Restaurant which offers the finest quality, locally sourced produce. The restaurant is open from 6 till late, Thursday through to Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to pre-book bedding & towels or bring your own. Our glamping pods do not contain any cutlery or crockery. Lordstones is a privately owned Country Park offering glamping in the North York Moors National Park.

We stayed for two nights in one of your jumbo glamping pods. It was clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and the food in the cafe was delicious and reasonably priced. The shower block was warm and clean. Overall, a wonderful short break.

We recently had our 3rd beak at Lordstones in a pod. As always the pod was clean, equipped with everything we needed. The pod village is so peaceful. There was only us in the village at the time so it felt like there was only us for miles around. The facilities are clean. The staff in both the shop and the restaurant couldn't be more helpful and attentive. The breakfast is lovely and sets you up for a day of lovely walks in the area. We would highly recommend

Staff in the shop and restaurant are first class, so friendly and helpful even when clearly very busy - can’t fault them. We stayed in a dog friendly camping pod (2 adults, 2 kids 14 & 11, and dog) which was clean and had a fairly decent welcome pack. The setting of all the pods is beautiful and feels really private, with the advantage of being a couple of minutes walk from the restaurant (check opening times if you want to eat there). The weather was kind to us so that helped with the lack of indoor space in the pod, it’d be fine with younger children. Loved the wood burner which made the pod very cosy in the evening - had to open doors and windows to cool down a bit!! The only criticism is that the mattress on the bed has seen better days, and the sofa bed is really uncomfortable to sleep on, they both definitely need replacing!

This is our second visit in the Lordstones pods and we do love the surroundings and location. The pod we were in needed some attention though. Last year the outside light wasn’t working and still isn’t this year. It would be good to have some cleaning equipment a cloth or disinfectant spray to at least wipe down the surfaces and use in the toilet area. The toilet wasn’t clean and the floor was dirty. There was some light fittings hanging from the ceiling which need fixing. Apart from these things we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location, Glamping pods really good. It rained for 90% of our weekend away so could not use the outside barbecue. I would come back and stay again but I will be better prepared. There is no phone reception or WiFi in the glamping pods. As it rained for most of the weekend, be careful on the steps down to the pods, it gets very slippy.Overall great experience
